Hey!!! Amazing video… gives me a lot of validation and inspiration I’ve been struggling a lot with food misconception in order to heal skin issues. Most often I hear you need to go low carb and eat animal products to heal.
I remember sitting at home sick watching your videos and a lightbulb went off in my head- fast forward almost 18 months now -since eating raw till 4 I have not been sick , I do not have any of the sugar cravings I used to have . This way of life, this way of eating is literally like drinking from the fountain of youth! I am a Gigi of 10 and people cannot believe that I am old enough to have grandkids! I cannot say enough about eating wfpb , being outside in the sun , walking on the beach all of this has been a true blessing in life- Namaste

Except meat is high in saturated fat...so it will make you put on weight and incur diseases like heart disease, certain cancers and high blood pressure. This is just scientific fact and making random comments that are validated by the influencer won't change that. This is just misinformation.
This is the true statement. But I can tell you from 3 years of being a whole food plant based is that it is almost virtually impossible to get to that many calories! Unless you sat around eating jars of peanut butter all day. That's what makes WFPB so great. This morning I had a completely full bowl of fruit and couldn't eat anymore because of all the fiber.

Whenever we would have tsunami warnings back home in Hawaii, we would stock up on fresh fruit for the family. A lot of people buy ramen noodles, snacks, etc., but fruit was always our go-to! Fruit is just so delicious and healthy to eat on their own. God knew what He was doing when He gave us fruit.
Just curious, I’m on the opposite end of the spectrum where I’m not worried about gaining, but rather losing too much weight by switching to a whole food plant based diet. I’m actually trying to gain weight without feeling like I have to be constantly eating all day long. How is it possible to get enough calories for weight gain without eating all day long?

I have a question about corn tortillas vs. Whole wheat or veggie tortillas which I seen at my local healthy cupboard grocery store. Are corn tortillas bad for you or are they ok? I love all this content on healthy carbs but for dinner I'll make some bean enchiladas inspired by you guys what is the best choice for tortilla?

I try to eat my fruit in the afternoon but found that it made me gassy and bloated. It can be apple, grapes, or whatever. Then I read that it’s because of the high fructose in fruits, but if you combine eating with food that has lactic acid bacteria like yogurt it will counteract with the fructose. I experimented with cashew yogurt and apple and it worked.

I feel like a million bucks after switching to WFPB and would never go back to how I felt before - I only wish I did this sooner. 🥹 My blood work is perfect!
