thanks! the bunny is a vtuber, not a cursor replacer, so it only shows in the video capture. it's also annoying to set up and needs to be manually reconfigured for different screen sizes, so i'll probably never make something like this for purchase since i'm sure it will result in a lot of buyers needing personal help or asking for refunds :')
omg?! you're a lifesaver, i was just about to try and tackle this myself earlier for an animation i was doing. sorry for the silly question, but how would you describe "invert masking" ? i've looked at the l2d manual but i'm still not really grasping the difference between that and clipping. also, just to be sure, when you're duplicating the parts like that (the ones youre making transparent for example) do they also carry over the same parameter values that you've already rigged to them?
it's reverse-clipping. so with regular clipping, if you clipped A to B, A would only show in the area where B is. inverted, A would only show where B is *not* duplicated parts carry over parameters, but they are annoying to change later if you want to redo the keyforms cause then you have to re-dupe them. it is easier to just not rig the hair pieces/eyebrows directly at all. just put the original and dupe pieces into the same warp deformer and do all the rigging on the deformer
@@sanvobun thank you so much!! i'll definitely keep the warp deformer part in mind, thats what ive been doing but was unsure if theres other methods i shouldve been doing LOL glad to know ive been doing it properly i'll be experimenting :salute:
