Friends, poppy seed roll (poppy roll, poppy seed) is one of the very famous traditional dishes of Ukrainian cuisine. Very often, such curls are baked on holidays in many regions of our Ukraine. And I really want the dish to turn out perfectly: that there is a lot of filling and not enough dough, that the filling is fragrant, and the dough is tender, fluffy and tasty, that the formed curl holds its shape well and that the finished pieces look beautiful and neat when cutting, and not it happened that the product spread on the baking sheet and cracked during the baking process. 100 g of raisins
50 ml cognac (orange juice)
100 g of walnuts
Peel of 1 orange + 50 g of sugar
3 tbsp. rue jam (plum, blackcurrant)
500 g of dry ground poppy seeds
750 ml of milk
25 g of butter
100 g of natural honey
4 proteins + 30 g of sugar

230 ml of milk
30 g of sugar
40 g of Dukhmyan Khata yeast
600 g of flour
1 egg
4 egg yolks
20 g of vanilla sugar
0.5 tsp salt
125 g of butter
