I hope they make this one in a bigger bottle. I really love it. I do agree it's a very strange combo, but it makes out for a very special, unique ink color. I'm definitely getting one, if they make them available for sale in their usual 80ml bottles.

I bet they will!! I know they did special bottles for the blue series, so I wonder if they’ll use the same for the red series. I think those were 50ml, if I remember correctly.

This ink is really great! Love it when writing and sketching. Probably doesn't work in big splotches but in line form it's wonderful.

I honestly think silver or bronze shimmer would've been a better choice here. I do like the brown ink/green sheen. But yes the blue shimmer throws it off for me as well

It's IS bizarro. But I kinda like it. I just want a bright ink now to break up the dark/dull of the collection so far.

I was not a fan when I swatched it! I was like were the Diamine ink creators drunk when they made this one? Lol BUT THEN I painted with it and omg the color range and depth I could get with this along with utilizing the shimmer and sheen was awesome. I’m gonna have to test it out in a pen cuz your writing dried trippy cool. 🤎

This one for me is like most of the Inkvent this year - they just don't mesh for me. Looking forward to Ink Flight - wonder when it will appear ;)

This whole year was meeh and gloomy so makes sense to me...a few good times too but mostly gloom..so mybe this years inkvent will have a few bright ones too

I guess the blue is supposed to be what makes the brown spice "wintry"...but I agree with you. I don't like the combination of cold blue and warm brown. This brown with gold would have been pretty...but then it would probably have been "Summer Spice". ;)

I feel like this has the wrong name, I think of warm orangey browns with spice. I think if it was called Winter Woods I would like it’s blue shimmer green sheen and the shade of brown. All of the colors have been very somber and winter, over what I think of as Holiday. They are interesting colors and definitely noting some to get if they make some full size, like temptest.

I’m not sure I like it either It does remind me of how the light hits a sugared ginger bread or molasses cookie. I think that’s what they were going for. I think I’d like to see it on a variety of papers before I make up my mind. It might look very different on Clairfontagne or Midori MD. I think it’s the shade of brown for me too. It’s very orangey on my phone, which I’m not fond of when paired with cool colors. So perhaps the paper is the key to getting the ink to shine…

Interesting to see your reactions to this! Unfortunately I think the lighting makes the brown seem more yellowy rather than reddish. To me this makes a big difference with this odd combination of colours. I also notice that in my pen, I don't get much sheen, so it's more like the shading reddish brown with a spattering of blue shimmer. Personally it's one of my favourites so far. I think the 'spiciness' comes from the oddness of the colour combinations. I also seem to smell cinnamon whenever I use it! Inkent is a great way for Diamine to trial inks that maybe will surprise people.

The lighting wasn’t great but even in daylight, I … don’t like it. it’s not my color and the shimmer weirds me out for some reason. I’m wondering if I’d like it better without the shimmer. That said, I’m glad you love it! I love the inkvent for the same reason - trying new things and surprises. 🥰

This ink gave me so many confusing feelings. I don't know if the name is throwing me off. But then swatch I did had so much shimmer I havent been sure what the actual colour was. I'm not upset, just confused. I think they should have named it Marmite (but that maybe too British!)

This is a weird one! Maybe it will grow on you… sometimes an ink’s uniqueness can be the thing that makes me love it. I look forward to hearing about what you think after using it for a while. I’m glad this is near the beginning so we have time to mull it over. 😹 And if you find yourself reaching for the combo later… The combo feels like it deserves a lot of … … … 😹 ✒️🤎💙💚❤️🖋

I don’t know if they still have them but I got mine from jet pens. Amazon, eBay, Etsy will all have them too. Moonman n6

Question, Do you put al inks in a pen? I havea couple pens but it seems a nightmare to clean the pen 25 days in a row.

Yes, I've been putting inks in pens, but I have way too many pens, so I haven't cleaned any out yet. I don't recommend this, unless you want to clean 25 pens later. LOL if you only have a couple, i'd swatch them, pick your favorite and start there. :)
