Loved your video. I made 3 brooms like yours last year. Each one was individually decorated. I used some of the glittery spikey branches and stuck them in the twine around the branches. Then I put either a flower or bat or skull with a ribbon bow around the twine/twigs. Each broom has different color accessories. I put the brooms outside under a board sign I made that says " Broom Parking". On the sign I added hooks at bottom and hung a couple of witches hats adorned with matching ribbon on the brims to coordinate with their brooms.

I would opt for leaving it as a twine color as the stem of a pumpkin is brown.

Great decorations on a budget. Thank you for all the hard work you put in to making these videos and sharing your ideas. An idea for the handle on the broom. Could you use a green scouring pads even a worn one to scrub off the loose bits. Could be quicker and help prevent slivers.

6:20 I think the twine makes it look like more natural but since the fabric is not natural a.k.a. polar fleece then maybe you do want black on top of that pumpkin. Yeah that wasn’t helpful at all right lol
