I was at Gen Con and paid $12 to play one game of Twin Suns. Got a Grogu. Drafted on Sunday and got a Maul and another Grogu. That was $28. Compare to what Magic was doing for prize support, FFG needs to make it worth it. I loved meeting new players but everyone was more focused on getting the Con exclusive than playing.
Don’t hate on Hunter! Hunter’s ability is so much value and also lets you replay valuable units when combined with The Marauder. He’s also huge I like him. Is he meta worthy? No idea yet. But he might be for sure. He’s waaaay better than people give him credit for.
I think you’re misinterpreting the asterisks in the Secrets of Power set. The FFG dev who led design on it (can’t remember who it was but it was in an interview) said that it was kind of an off-the-wall set idea that he had been personally pushing to get made. I imagine the pending licensor approval is for that-the idea of the set and its content, not (just) the name.
Nice to meet most of you guys at GenCon! I would definitely agree with Jay that playing in an event that takes all day while the vendor hall is open really sucks. It was my first time at GenCon. I missed out walking through the vendor hall to check things out that first day and barely made it through 1/2 of the hall the next two days
Hey @ando we have an opening for a "director of reminding mike to push to audio platforms" here at unplayable. Would you like a volunteer job? (This might sound sarcastic but I'm actually serious 🤣)
Friendly heads up, still not seeing this one on Pocketcasts or Spotify! Are there any perks to the volunteer job you're offering? I feel qualified... 🤔
