Hunter is insanely underrated. His ability is basically draw a card. And he deploys as a 5/8 with overwhelm and (basically) on attack draw a card. I mean, yeah you have to build your deck to have a lot of tripples of uniques. But that’s not an issue. Is he the best? Probably not. Is he good? Possibly. He’s FOR SURE better than people think.
Playing Luke since release too. Love the fact that you give him the love he deserves ! Really like Tech against grindy ramp match-ups, I added 2 copies on sideboard. I'd side 2 copies of Yoda and add these against Palp for exemple, so I have more options to smuggle cards in the late game and face the sneaky 8 ressources leader deploy turn. Glad you will test out Timely Intervention, I did not test it out either.
For a Funko game it's surprisingly designed really well. The minis are awesome, as I would expect from Funko. I'm really hoping series 2 fixes the balance issues that were present in series 1.
I love seeing Luke get some love! It has been my favorite leader since set 1 as well! Your list is quite different than mine, but I love seeing the deck get some spot light! No village protectors though 👀
Great video btw, the addition of Maz is incredible and I am hooked....I dont miss R2 at all in the spot. Now I want to try some Mandalorian unit combos with Maz.
Totally. The restore and eventual draw 1 is helpful. Plus having the force trait it allows to play the force is with me on yoda or anyone else deployed.
Rey is a really good card. she was ranked correctly. Mando is not really good card there is no time EVER that you will use him over obi and i own 3 mandos.
Any updated news on reprints ? Also: would it be safe to assume that a reprint will also specify on the card that it’s a reprint, or not an original print ?
Dune imperium has been on my list for a while definitely need to pick that up. Hadn’t seen the fantasy realms one before and our fam would dig that. Do you recommend the deluxe? Is the calculator required or just makes it simpler?
@@FrankNicodem the calculator is not necessary just makes scoring soooo easy. Game is wonderful though. I think I just have the basic version so unsure what the deluxe adds.
Where are you guys playing so many games?? No way it's all in person. Karabast? Force table? Just wondering where the best place is to get all these games yall are talking about😂
Aeon’s end is such a fantastic game! Based on what you like I think you would like this too. You should try it. Beautiful design. Hugely replayable. Lots of expansions when you want more options. Just solid.
About pandemic legacy. I love all the three games. But I definitely get where you’re coming from with S2. They tried some new things and it’s a bit clunky. The writing isn’t quite as good as S1. But I feel that they learned a lot for S0. Imo it’s the best of the three. Just barely beating out S1 (which I have also played three times).
Surprised you haven’t played Lisboa. That one is regarded as Lacerda’s masterpiece. A little harsh on the family games like Azul and Cascadia. I love that family weight kind of game personally. But everyone has different preferences.
@@IanM92 yeah I was probably too harsh on those, realistically I probably should have had a D tier and not Unplayable tier because I think they slot in well at C for me as games I’ll play in the occasion of playing with family but would never pick to play with other gamers. Lisboa is one that somehow has just slid past me, although I hear it’s his most mechanical game.
Love the video 👍🏻 but I gotta strongly disagree with the nemesis take. That game imo is the best tension building short story telling experience I have had in a multiplayer game. We’ve had so many fun game experiences that I wish could be made into an alien movie. We like to play with an ominous scary movie soundtrack playing off of RU-vid in the background lol
@@Hubbabubbafett that’s totally okay! And to be completely fair, I did really enjoy the time I played it. But it’s not one I’ve felt like getting back to the table, and I think that’s why I placed it where I did, not to say it’s a bad game!
That’s understandable it is huge and complex and takes a lot of time to set up. I feel like as long as one person really has a good understanding of the rules the game play for new players isn’t too hard to just learn as you play
(Azoki here!) Super fun to hear your opinions on board games! I agree with some... but disagree hard on others lmao. That's what they call taste eh? :)
