Today's video takes us to the Gull Lake in Alberta for a day of fishing action! We've got Kashton with us, who's stepping up from a cup and minnows to real fishing action. And let me tell you, this kid's a natural-reeling in catch after catch!
I had a blast hanging out with the boys, enjoying the great outdoors, and Randy even got into a couple of epic fights. It was just an all-around awesome day!

Awesome!!! Loved the video. I have to find a lake to target perch. Havent had much luck finding them at Wabamun (our usual go-to spot) . Good reminder tonpack out what you packed in. Love whem the bite turns on when you're trying to leave, lol makes it so hard to get out of there. Hit me up when youre back to see if we can link up for a fishing trip. 🎣

Hey revalos, me and my buddy never went ice fishing. We want to really try and just send it lol. We Bought almost everything we need we just don’t know any spots. We want to go to prossper creek reservoir tomorrow but we don’t know if it’s frozen, any idea if it’s frozen? Also great video would like to catch some fish like this!

Hi @ictofu8166 !!! Thanks for watching! I am actually currently in the Philippines right now so I am not 100% sure if the reservoir is fully frozen. With the recent -40 weather I am sure it is okay, but don't take my word for it. The best bet is to get out and drill some holes. You'll get a better idea once you're there. And the best way to go, is just to go. I've learned a lot, forgetting things and taking it next time. A bit trial and error. You guys will do fine lol. Just make sure to check your surroundings and see if anyone else is on the ice. Tight lines you guys! Thanks again for watching and don't forget to Subscribe! When I'm back I'll be out on the ice again. PS lots of lakes have perch!

@@ictofu8166 it really depends on what you are trying to catch. In Alberta lakes I use tubes for Lakers and jus minnow and jigs for burbs, walleye and pike. For trout and pan fish like perch, I use small hooks and maggots. Open that helps you get started! Tight lines!
