I would love commander in arena. But with the countless infinite combos in magic would be a nightmare to wait to all other 3 players to pass priority for all the triggers.

I'd like Commander on Arena too but not if they keep the same attitudes in games. The way that Arena is set up Commander pods with randoms would also be really really sweaty. The only jank, sub optimal, stupid or fun play on Commander Arena would be if you're playing with friends. Check out Brawl on Arena, it's 100 card singleton 1v1 and super sweaty for no good reason.

Pooling the immense amount of resources to bring 4 player free-for-all to Arena would be such a waste. The fun part about Commander is that it’s a social format, not competitive. Take away the ability to sit around with your friends and instead play with three faceless mute strangers, plus not having access to the powerful removal and counter spells CEDH has, and you’re gonna find out how unfun Commander taken seriously can be when you’re randomly dying before your third turn due to a dog pile or someone comboing off.

Ikr! That sounds badass! I would love to be able to play legacy every Friday. In all seriousness I agree 1000% with her point magic is way too pricey. The game is amazing I want people to be able to play with the game pieces.

Commander isnt a format (or at an absolute minnimum isnt a focus) and people and wotc focus on the real formats again.

L take, Commander is a good introduction to magic and where a lot of new players are starting with. It’s the most popular format for a reason, cheap and easy to get into. the 1% - 5% of tournament grinders are not making wizards any money 😅

For real where does mtgnerd girl live that her LGS only has legacy on Fridays😂😂😂? My stores don't even host standard events anymore because they don't fire! I haven't drafted since pre-pandemic! I went into a (really small) store that "banned" Commander decks "above a 7 power level" whatever that means. There's only one store here that can fire a pre-release with more than 10 people. CHECK YOUR PRIVILEGE
