I adore SleepyHead, and boxes are a most favorite thing. But tapping is my LEAST favorite thing. Repetitious sounds are torture for me -- whether it's tapping, a clock ticking, a song lyric that repeats over and over, etc. I know I'm weird that way. The downvote is a signal to me to avoid this one, that it has periods of fast relentless tapping that I'll find upsetting. But I will try videos with "tapping" in the title as sometimes it's quiet, slow, intermittent, interspersed with other sounds... in which case I like it.

@@calicodragonfly I see. I feel the same about other things that other people find completely amazing and brain-melting. Unless it is something I don't want to be recommended ever again, I simply click away. Even my fave asmr artists sometimes create stuff that I don't enjoy. It's nice they try to appeal to a wider audience, not everyone is going to like the same.

@ Courtney S I agree and I don’t get it either. She’s excellent and you can see she puts so much work and effort into what she does. She was one of the very first ASMRtists I subscribed to. I listen to her videos without earphones. She should be way over 100K by now. Everytime I look I can’t believe it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I agree with everyone else, you really nailed it on production. The lighting is soothing, as is the fluffy table cover. Lighting this way makes all the items look uniform so one is not particularly distracted by the item being scratched, it all feels like it is meant to be together.

Funny story. My youtube history says apparently i’ve watched this whole video. I have no recollection of this, no remembrance at all. I thought I was watching a video that was a year old. I saw the chefs kiss comment and felt like I read that recently. Then i look at the date and realized the night after this was posted, I got very drunk. So apparently even when drunk, I find time to watch asmr. I’m glad i came back to this video, though. It is indeed “chefs kiss”. 🤌🏻

Cardboard boxes like these are EASILY one of my favorite triggers hands down! And by the way I LOVE the thumbnail so much! You should totally stick to this theme for your videos and thumbnails! It’s beautiful

Something about scratchy tapping does it for me consistently everytime. It's a tapping that has scratchy noises and makes the fingers flutter or dance almost cos it's so light and gentle instead dragging across and somehow that sound and movement alone on a good surface does it for me.
