That’s crazy! I did the VIP tour in January for my Bday and they let us off the trolley at the Jaws set! We got to experience the shark attack from the normal view on the trolley to the backstage view where the gas lines are they proper the shark! We didn’t get off at the War of the Worlds set 😩 but walking about jaws was amazing! Love the VIP tour. Love Universal Studios
There is an extra cost if you want your own guide vs being with other people. Also, when you have your own guide, you can tell the guide what YOU want to do vs them picking what you get to do. There’s a lot more to it but that’s it in a nutshell.

Very cool! Ur gonna have so much fun! Our tour guide said we would be with him for 6-7 hours. We ended up hanging out with him closer to 8 hours. We hit all of the major (big) attractions. Quite a few of the not so big attractions and one show. 👌🏾
one question, how long to the tours last, I'm going in a week and am getting the VIP pass, I just want to know if after the tour I will still have time to go on all the rides again

@@xboxmaniac90 The park closes at 8:30pm at Universal Studios Hollywood. You can use your VIP badge for attractions at any time of the day for the day you made your reservation for the tour.
Thank you for the great video. How does it work for the attractions while on the tour? Does the guide select the rides and order? Is it appropriate for children (like ages 10-13)? I am trying to decide for a family trip with my mother (late 60s) and my children for late May.
Yes, the guide picks the attractions. Based upon the time of day you go and how busy the park is. But you will get to ride all of the major attractions. 10-13, and for late 60’s I would say, absolutely yes. Cuts out all of the waiting in line times. Especially if you go during park peak times.
@@pinkbudgetinggirl5520 you do not have to go on all the rides. You can wait with the tour guide while other guests go on the rides. Riding attractions is not mandatory 👌🏾
So how long is the actual tour and how much time is left for you to check the park on your own after it? Also, if you decide not to take the tour can you still have the breakfast and lunch buffets? I personally dont care much about the tour but the fact that you can ride all the rides with no wait at all, wondering if you can do that if you skip the tour from the morning and rush to Super Nintendo world and ride Mario Kart as many times as you want
It’s really up to you. When it comes to VIP all times are good. It just really depends on if you think you would like to explore other areas not covered in VIP. You can book a late appt and go early and explore the park before the tour. Or book an early appt and explore the park after the tour. Or if you have no intentions on seeing anything other than what’s on VIP, it doesn’t matter. 👌🏾👌🏾

I will do the VIP tour with my children and wife, we have it for the late morning around 11:15, what time does the park open?, our idea is to arrive as soon as they open and go directly to Nintendo Word to make the reservation for toad cafe for to be able to buy something there because that is not included in the VIP tour, as well as buy the power bands and do some other attractions before our tour start, what do you recommend we do before the tour, will we stay until the park closes?
That’s a very good idea. I’m not exactly sure what time the park opens during this season. I’m guessing 9am. But you should def double check. Maybe check out a few small attractions since mostly the major attractions are included in the tour. And after the tour, you should have an hour or maybe two before the park closes 👌🏾

Thanks! And no, you do not have to go straight to VIP. You are free to roam the park and do whatever. 👌🏾 They just ask that you check in on time prior to your tour. ☺️
I’m going to universal in 2 weeks and I have a question about the vip tour, once you start the tour with your guide are you stuck with them for the full day until the tour is over or can you leave and meet back with them for example going to a restaurant or checking out some gift shops or if you want to go back and do another ride more than once, thanks in advance.
Very informative video and EXACTLY what i was looking for! Did you take pics with the characters while with your guide (did they wait for u) or was that after your tour was done? Planning to go in October and i really wanted to meet mario & luigi but i heard vip skips all characters.
VIP technically does skip all VIP characters. But, really depends on your guide and your group. My guide stated that it was best to do that stuff on your own time, as to not make the rest of the group wait on you. So that’s what I did. I got my pictures with Mario & Luigi after the tour. You can always dip off on your own and catch up with your group afterwards. 👌🏾

Get to the park at whatever time you like. If you want to look around a bit or hang out in the lounge, just get there a bit earlier. Lunch will be determined by your tour guide

The best time really depends on your priorities and what you want to get out of your day. The tour is about 7 hours and the park closes at 8pm. You can absolutely do anything you missed or do anything again after the tour. Your VIP badge gives you access to Express Pass Lanes on all attractions and shows. If you want to do stuff more than twice or do things you didn’t get to do on the tour, I would book an early morning reservation for your VIP tour. 👌🏾
You can only access Super Mario World with your VIP group….unless, you schedule a reservation with Super Mario World ahead of time. Please note, I am giving you this information at a time when reservations are needed to enter Super Mario World. 👌🏾

I read that the vip tour is about 7-8 hours, but i am only interested on riding on the rides unlimited time, i wanted to buy the express pass, but it is only for one time to ride with skiping the line. So my question, can i also dont go to the tour and just use the vip pass to ride the rides unlimited times? or the tour is the same as i want-we ride all rides? or i came to the vip express line only with the guide? thank you
Your VIP badge acts as an express lane pass when you are not with your guide. You can go on as many rides as many times as you like. There is no limit 👍🏾

Regardless if you are pregnant or not, you do not have to go on any ride you do not want to . You can totally hang out with the tour guide and wait for the rest of the group. You can opt out anytime 😎🥰
You can show up with 2 people if you want. They will put other people with your group, unless there isn't another group during the time period you chose. :)
Hello! Yes, we stayed at the “W” hotel. Affordable and about 10 min ride to the park. The tad bit closer hotels were all booked up when we tried. But the W hotel was just fine. 💜

Sooooo…. I don’t have kids. Lol. BUT, I think this might be too long of a day for a 6 year old….a lot of information they wouldn’t care to listen to…lol. Probably just the “express lane” pass would be best for small kids. But then again, I’m not a child expert. I can say tho, while waiting in the VIP lounge area…I did not see a lot of small children. In fact, I didn’t see any. 🤷🏾♀️
Not sure if this was only on your VIP experience, but I’ve seen many other vids that show an express lane for Mario Kart & that you could go as many times as you like, skipping the line.
@@RS-pf3lx there is an express lane option that you can pay for. But it is limited to time slots available. But yes, technically you can go as many times as times are available. But the time slots are spread out. I believe possible max times could be up to 3 times on a ride. Depends on the day and crowd 👌🏾💜
I don’t have kids. So, I can’t speak on kids. But the trolly is 1-2 hours if you think your kid can tolerate it 👌🏾 You do get on and off the trolley too tho
SMW is based upon capacity. Which varies. I do not know how many times you can go back forth. I would suggest making a reservation ahead of time if you plan on revisiting without the tour guide. Typically, you will go to SMW at the end of the tour.
Is it possible to snag a Toadstool Cafe reservation since you are on a VIP tour and not able to go straight down to Mario World first? I've heard these reservations go quickly. I too have a VIP ticket your planned and was curious.
Yes. Make your reservation at Toadstool cafe and catch up with your your tour later, if you want to do that. Yes, Toadstool cafe reservations go by REALLY fast. Just let your tour guide know , so you can arrange to meet up after.

We had a few hours after the tour to do whatever. But then again, we chose the 11am tour times….if we wanted more time after, we would have chose the morning tours 👌🏾
I thought I saw a previous comment from you , but I can’t find it about how many days. Just incase I missed it, you will knock out Super Nintendo World in one day. Without VIP, waiting for Bowsers Challenge Mario Kart and the key games will take up majority of your time in that particular park. 👌🏾
