Tom says he doesn't care. But we know he does, to a degree. Like some of the hate seeps in. We know how his inner demons taunt him and how hard he gets on himself. This song is such a brilliant way to address haters. Instead of serious - it just makes them look stupid in a light hearted way. Tom is such a beautiful person. I hope he can feel that. #HOG
also, being able to laaugh at yourself is healthy, both physically an mentally. never ever trust someone that cannot laugh at themselves , that cannot take a joke.
He also has to appeal to a demographic that may be younger than being a teenager. In that sense, it could be used as an anti-bullying message for kids. Tom was bullied a kid, hence the wrestling background.
This song is everything! The first few times I heard it, I found it hysterical but it's much deeper than that. Now when I hear it i think about how beautiful it is to be abused and bullied as a kid and then to turn around with innocence and humor and say "so what". Essentially loving your self for who you are irregardless of the hate and pain caused by others. Showing them that you are infact a beautiful person and you could care less about how they view you. You can still love yourself whether they love you or not.

Honestly, Tom is a mastermind. I've been following him for a while. His spoken word videos, and his older videos are considerably great given how "new" he was. I'm embarrassed to admit I forget the name of the song right now, but the video where he tended a farm and then murdered someone was such a fantastic juxtaposition and contrast to the human condition. Even if not for RU-vid, please watch that sometime. I love a number of artists, but not many since Tech N9ne in the late 90s has another rap or hip hop artist stuck out to me like Tom.
