I know how much you guys like the glam,or hair metal scene of the early 80's....I wanted to give you a little tidbit that is almost lost to history. In the early 80's a really popular movie came out starring Kevin Bacon called Footloose. In that movie,there was a tiny little segment where he was driving in his van,and they played a few seconds of a song. That song was Metal Health by Quiet Riot. When people saw it, everyone wondered: What's that song? Who's that band? Off of that, Metal Health became the first metal album to go number 1. And it kicked off the entire glam scene of the 80's. If not for a 5 second snippet of a song in a movie,it would have never happened. True story

@@gizzy2403 yeah, I saw. Just giving a little tidbit to go along with it. I know Lex especially likes the hair band stuff. If not for a 5 second clip,in a movie that just so happened to be popular? The whole thing would have never happened. A lot of people don't know. And if you asked a bunch of people, without googling: what was the first metal album to go number one was? 1 out of every billion people would get it correct. Quiet Riot wasn't the biggest metal band. Actually they only had one hit that wasn't a cover song. But they were the first to have that kind of mainstream success,and busted the whole thing wide open for everyone who followed.
