going from "he's bleeding!" to "i dropped all my eggs" to "there goes the baker with his tray like always" was an emotional rollercoaster i wasn't prepared for
Having “he’s bleeding. It’s everywhere!” As part of the rhythm of the city had the same energy as jake peralta saying random blood could just be city blood
Me: **watches the five hour compilation of B99 cold opens* Me: Alright, that's enough for today! Let's click on this video, Louie always makes - **Le me seeing this comment* I can not escaaAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPE
I just want to comment and stress this: Justin dropped all his eggs. He didn't drop 20% of his eggs. He didn't even drop 50%. He dropped all his eggs. Look at what it's done to him. You can see the death in his eyes, but he keeps on going. This is why Justin is one of my favorite brothers.
I love the idea that the podcast actually takes place in a VR mindscape where the environment changes around them to allow them to act out all the scenarios they pose.
the close up of Travis's panicked expression and blood on his hands and then a little griffin shouting at people to get off his bus is extremely choice
everything about this is perfection incarnate but my personal favorite detail is griffin sliding into frame at 0:09 with that “AWGH”. beautiful detail. no noise is too small to be animated in the eyes of louie zong and thats what makes all these videos so incredible.
I keep thinking that the next time I replay it I won’t laugh audibly and disturb everyone but then it gets to “I dropped all my eggs” in the most horrifying way and thank you so much
It's funny how when you look at this video the 3 of them have completely different ideas of how cities sound. Travis goes off of the mundane like percussive sounds, people reacting to rain, public stabbings Justin takes it more like a city in England with the daily papers, food peddlers, man who drops of their carton of eggs they were carrying around. And Griffin goes for pretty modern things, conversational blurbs and angry bus drivers
This will literally never get old. Someone put this in a museum and preserve it for all the future generations of humanity to celebrate this moment of 'yes'.
i opened the notification without looking and then went back to a different tab, thinking it was just another bop for me to listen to, then i heard griffin and got super confused. still a bop tho
love the image of one building labeled mbmbam headquarters in the middle of nyc that only has one floor which is the infinitely wide void that these videos are set in
As a relatively new MBMBAM listener, this is the first bit I can remember that I heard on the podcast before seeing it animated by the one and only Louie Zong and you did a superb job!
