Those single frame "blink and you'll miss it" moments are important. The "Wake Up!" on the boombox and the flash to Sonic being in a room filled with cages leads me to believe that Eggman has trapped Sonic in a simulation where he's forced to endlessly battle different Eggmen to torment him, forever.

I swear, this could've been the background to the Sonic Prime series 😆 But seriously, the animation and the music are absolutely stunning. I wouldnt be lying to you if i told you that I know each lyric of this rap and have been listening to it for over a year now. And actually, I want to become an animator one day, so seeing people making things as awesome as this gives me a lot of motivation and hope that I can do that! Keep up the great work, @mashed!

I’m not going to lie, that shocked and terrified me seeing one of my childhood heroes murdering someone intentionally. It shows you figures like Superman, Batman, and even Spider-Man could snap at any moment and all hell breaks loose.

I played this song while fighting a person in Smash Bros Ultimate as Sonic and it was glorious.

Everything about this video is amazing. The music, the flow, and I LOVE the animation. My only criticism is that the first time we see sonic sitting under the tree, there is some obvious tweening before he takes his sunglasses off. Obviously is just a nit pick, but other than that I absolutely love this video and I'm so excited for part 2.

The Kevin Bennet is so underrated, he deserves more recognition for his work.

Okay theory: Notice at the beginning of the song. The words “WAKE UP” briefly appeared on the boombox when the rap was about to start. Now in the end, when Sonic was being sucked through the wormhole, it briefly flashed to a scene. It looked like one of Eggman’s labs, and there were various cages. This believes me to think that Sonic is actually sleeping or in a comatose state and is dreaming. Either A.) He has been captured by Eggman, who at this point has taken over the world B.) HE is the evil one and is currently dreaming or in a coma Or C). Same as B, but he’s actually Eggman.

Minor note, why are all the eyes pale? Sonic eyes are normally a piercing emerald green, but his (and everyone else's) have a pale or gray tint to it.
