The high tenor, Eli Jacobson does their lighting. The bass,Geoff Castellucci arranged the music. They do all the work on the videos themselves except for detailed makeup and complicated camera work. These are some of the most talented people I've come across on the internet. I hope you react to more of their videos soon.😊

Thanks so much, guys! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :) Jose Rosario Jr. was actually a last-minute substitution for this. They'd planned for Anthony Gargiula to join them as their guest vocalist, but due to Covid restrictions, he was unable to make it. Eli wound up taking over his part, while Jose (unusually for a guest vocalist, and he deserves all kinds of credit for being such a good sport about it) sang the less dramatic part that would have been Eli's. IMO it was a happy accident that they wound up with a perfect pirate captain and Eli got to show off his magnificent rock god rasp to its fullest, and Anthony did eventually get to collaborate with them on their cover of Golden Hour, so it worked out well all around.

It was in the Pirates of the Caribbean 3rd film. Tim Foust and Geoff Castellucci (here) have similar ranges and they are friends. Sometime look up Survivor: Zombies vs Hillbillies (VoicePlay vs Home Free). It was so much fun.

This is a cover. The song was used at the beginning of a Pirates of the Caribbean movie, while the pirates were being hung. Jose has performed in Hamilton and other shows, and was also a member of Rockapella. He had gone to high school with Cesar, so this was a nice reunion. For this performance, Jose stepped in at the last minute after someone else wasn’t able to travel to Florida due to Covid. (That’s OK. He later featured with VoicePlay in Golden Hour). Jose also featured with VoicePlay in My Mother Told Me, their prequel to Valhalla Calling. If you take requests from comments, I would like to request that you listen to VoicePlay’s Nothing Else Matters. Everyone said you can’t do heavy metal in acapella, but they just took that as a challenge and the results were astonishing.

I second that request. They have tons of videos to choose from. All are awesome. Geoff Castelucci the bass has his own channel were he sings solo non acapella. He usually clones himself 3-4 times for harmonies. He also has a ton of awesome videos. His latest is... Man of Constant Sorrow.

PTX, HF and now VP is the trifecta of acapella. Geoff is the bass and he has a LOT of solo stuff as well that is very good. PTX is the pop group, HF is the country/blues group and VP is the theatrical group but they all can sing anything and all have their own styles. Amazing.

Sea Shanty that was in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and it also a shanty in the game assassin creed Black Flag. Home Free also did a Sea Shanty Medley that had different shanty that they did, I love all their songs I love Aca Top 10 which they did ACA Top Movies with Rob from Home Free but I like all the Disney ACA Top 10 which is Hero's, Villain's and Sidekick's.

You commented on the lights.... they were done by Eli, who was standing second from the right (tenor). They do EVERYTHING themselves. Geoff (Jeff) the bass, did the arrangement and video on this one.

@@tazzznphilly just one thing, always wait until after the credits roll before stopping any Voice Plays or Geoff Castallucci's ( low bass singer in Voice Play ) videos. Sometimes they have a pause/blackout at the end for a surprise ending or an important message.

Eli hasn't just stepped up his vocal game, his work behind the scenes has leveled up too. He does the lighting and background image work for both VoicePlay and Geoffs solo videos most of the time. He's gotten really good. This video remains on my top 5 VoicePlay favs still. It's just so good!! P.S. watch out for those booty traps! 😂😂
