This is such a beautiful original song from Tim. He is a wonderful songwriter. This song was originally on Tim's solo album before joining Home Free called "The Best That I Could Do". Nice to see it redone with Home Free. Love Adam's percussion!
This should be on the radio! This is a beautiful song by Tim and he sounded so good on lead with his perfect vibrato! The background harmonies were perfect and Chance’s bass was awesome. Home Free at their best! Thank you for reacting to this one! #HomeFree
Even though I've always loved the song, it still gives me an extra boost when you "see" them singing it and a video to go with it. Beautifully sung, great background vocals, amazing beatboxing which is not too overwhelming here and don't forget the incredible bass (Chance)
Beautiful song! Tim, fantastic as always, the backup harmonies sounded like an orchestra and Chance out did himself with the bass. Great reaction, thank you.
Although Tim co-wrote the song many years ago, it seems apropos for Austin at this time. Tim is such a talented singer/song writer/musician (he often plays piano on his channel). Although I'm sure Home Free's newest member, Adam Bastien, will be a great addition to the band, Austin is gonna be a tough act to follow. Thanks for playing this & your comments.
Hi Teresa my dear. Always cool seeing you in the chats. 😏. Wow, I didnt know they found a replacement already. I guess I ASS-UMED they would be a four man group for a little spell. 🤷♂️. Another Adam tho? Ha! Isnt that three now. 🤔. Kidding, but still surprised.
Bought my Tickets for Home Free Crazy (er) Life Tour here in Lncaster Pa. Excited to see them even though Austin is at home with Amberly. Lets see what the new singer can do. When Chris left and was replaced by Chance some were saying he didn't sing and stayed in the backround. Now he has added so much to the group. Oh a great song You will enjoy is by Chris Rupp and Tim Faust ( Long Black Train). Give it a Listen and a view, you won't regret it.
Thank for your comment and thoughts and song suggestion, Linda. Hope this new guy is worth adding. I personally might have embraced as a 4 man group for just a little bit. 🤷♂️
I'd heard their previous recording of this many times, and I was blown away by this new version. I don't know if it's just improvements in recording technology, or a slightly different arrangement, or the addition of Chance as a second deep voice, or a different mix.... Whatever it is this version just seems richer and rounder. Great.
Timmy wrote a beautiful song. He was showing a little of his 5 octave range for ya. If you like Sara Bareilles you might like their cover of Winter Song that she wrote. It’s really beautiful and one of my favorites. Chance sings lead on it. 😄🤩
Hey, BabyFry! Cool seeing you again. 😏. Happy you heard my love of Sara. Thanks for song mention. Since it is Sara inspired, it has my FULL attention now. Ha! ~ Tazzz ~
This new recording is much richer than their 2014 one. Part recording techniques, part arrangement, part maturing voices would be my guess. Tim writes some really good songs, and the harmonies Darren sets up are beautiful, as usual. Given how many songs exist about 'coming home', it must be a powerful aspect of touring - witness Austin giving up his Home Free career - and his Coming Home to You single. Jeffrey East has a few 'coming home' songs and Tim has at least one other on his old CD. I love how Tim effortlessly short circuits Austin's ADHD at the end - 12 years of practice, I think.
Funny. This was my first time ever knowing and hearing the song....and you mentioned they sang it in 2014 AND now. Lolol. I am REALLY late to the party! 😵💫
Ok, here you go, You can't play a bad Homefree song.I love this song. As much as I love Tim's low voice. I think I like his higher register more.❤ They are coming to Duluth Mn. which isn't too far from me. In September, I am hoping to see them then.
Beautiful original from Tim Chance is a great bass 😊😊 Austin has left the group a lot earlier than expected and Adam Bastien Aka Bastien has taken his place. Bastien used to sub for one of the tenors when Home Free first started and also was a member of Chris Rupp's group 7th Ave Bastien did his first concert with Home Free this evening at the Country Rumble Fest in Lima,Ohio then tomorrow night The Grand Ol Opry
@@tazzznphilly IMO He’s very good and very full of energy on stage I saw some debut fan cam videos at the Country Music Fest and one from The Grand Ol Opry and he was amazing being how nervous he was to be at such a big venue as The Opry. Unfortunately some people are putting him down a little because he’s not Austin and they can’t accept the change but most of are accepting him.
🤔 I can't decide on one part that I like the most. The harmonies, Tim's range (though it wasn't his entire range in this one), the beatboxing, Chance on the bass is always a treat, the lyrics, the story of the video... I CAN'T CHOOSE! Home Free is, simply put, amazing. And they have so many originals (most of them written by either Tim or Austin). Hopefully their new member, Adam Bell-Bastien, is a songwriter as well or Tim's has to do all the writing. Which I wouldn't mind either as he's an amazing songwriter (as we could hear in this one), but some change is always appreciated as well and Tim needs some downtime as well.
@@user-bp7vi7is8x I know that he wrote Skull and Bones (which is amazing) but I'm not sure if he wrote other songs for Home Free. If not it may change in the future.
