I’m an 05’ kid, never saw them in concert in my life, although listening to them is one of my favorite parts of every day. NO BAND and NO MUSICIAN in this generation will compare to Van Halen, or any kickass classic rock group.

To bad you missed seeing them, I went to one of there first concerts in 1979, it was, and still to this day, the loudest concert I’ve ever been to, Eddie’s guitar screamed, I can still hear those riffs, R.I.P. king Edward 🙏🏻🤘🏻

And just think ... Eddie went to the Roxy in LA to see Randy Rhodes Play in the mid 70s ... What a dilemma !!! Both are My hero's as i was born in 1963 and still jam to both to this day AND it NEVER gets old

Seen VAn Halen 12 times. One of those 2 nd row in front of Edward. I left going holy shit that guy is so incredible and making it look so easy. I’ll never forget it. Top 5 show for sure and I’ve been to about 200 shows and worked another 50…. Eddie fricking Van Halen… enough said

Wow, did you bring me back!! I’m 61 and saw VH 7 times. I even got to party with them after a show at the old Sunrise Auditorium in south Florida. Very wild times and I wouldn’t change any of it. Thanks for the amazing memories. Eddie was THE man!!

Little dreamer is also one of my favorite riffs. But honestly how can you not love the Vast majority of Eddie’s riffs. The guy had an incredible ear for sweet tones. In my opinion Eddie Van Halen is the greatest guitarist to have ever lived.

For me, VH1 is the best debut album, might even be the best rock album of all time. Even though I prefer Sammy as a vocalist, you can’t deny the songwriting of the Dave era. Incredible.

I didn't like Sammy...plus he's not to good at guitar...I watch a video of Jerry Cantell and Nancy Wilson and Sammy and he couldn't keep up on guitar or his vocals...DLR to me had a better stage present and knew how to work the crowd....

I was in high school when Van Halen hit the scene. They were my favorite band Running with the Devil was great. You really brought back memories with these clips. The basement band I was in played Ain’t Talking About Love.

I love this video and all of those are excellent riffs! for me, peak VH was Women & Children First, Fair Warning and Diver Down. I love everything Eddie ever did - with anyone - but songs like Mean Street, Dirty Movies and Push Comes To Shove are just incredible. and the intro to Women In Love might be the most beautifully melodic guitar I've ever heard. no one could emote pure joy through a guitar like he did.

I was only 10 when the debut album came out, but around 12 I was addicted to my first stereo, and music, first song I ever heard from VH was Dance the night away on the local rock station, I was hooked the rest is history, the original VH before Sammy just rocked, got a cassette of debut album about the same time, VH will àllways be one of my favorite bands. Still have all that vinal tucked away. This is the most enjoyable tribute to Eddie I have ever seen, you have great talent! Where did the time go 😮!!!! R.I.P Eddie the most explosive 🧨 guitarist in history.............peace.

i mentioned this one one of your livestreams, i went to backyard parties in Pasadena where Van Halen was playing, (they charged 10$ to get in), typically there was about 100 people there, tons of beer. The cops would show up and stop it, then 15 minutes started up again. I also attended their last local concert at the Pasadena Civic. They were going on world tour, opening for Queen. I was in front row, it was soooo loud , i was deaf for 2 days.
