We are thrilled to announce the premiere of the “Transatlantic Guitar Trio” concert film! While touring the UK and Germany at the moment, we've been blown away by the incredible support - sold out clubs, great people & great concerts!

Raised on a small ranch in North Dakota, Rory grew up recording and touring with the family band. He started teaching himself to play guitar and piano at age 3. By age 5 he was the drummer in the family band. He currently plays over a dozen stringed, keyboard and wind instruments. He may be blind, but was blessed with an ear for music that is second to none!

Man, i play the guitar to some degree. I have listened to some of the greats over the years: Johnny Smith, West Montgomery, Charlie Byrd, Herb Ellis, Barney Kessel and on and on. Django Rheinhardt, Jimmy Rosemberg, Bucky Pizzarelli, . Many believed that the blind Musicians stopped with Ray Charles et al. But Rory Hoffman is a genius. The speed and Crispyness of Jascho Stephan is also a very great and outstanding player. Man, Iam impress.

I have never heard of Rory Hoffman before today. I only realized halfway through the video that he is blind. I now feel deeply ashamed for each and every time I said "I can't do this!" in my life. What an unimaginable amount of frustration must he have to have coped with to get to that level of artistry. He is up there in the top 5 of what I consider the best guitar players/musicians of all time. That makes 3 out of 5 on that stage.

. Wow. what a show. While I was watching the show I was reading the Comments and Read that Rory also plays Sax and Piano I could only wish the logistics had been in place to show those talents too. BTW the Bass player is a geinos too.

Rory is amazing! I'd also recommend Shawn Ishimoto, another amazing guitarist who plays with the guitar on his lap in a very similar style, who just so happens to also be blind. The talent these guys possess is so unreal.

I watched this show when they performed at McCabes Guitar Shop in Santa Monica earlier this year. Towards the end of the show, Rory Hoffman did a solo piece, “Night Life”, which was unbelievable to witness and magical. I remembered the name of the song and the next day i immediately went online to find a video of him performing it, and sadly there was nothing I could find online of this tune being played by Rory. I am beyond excited to watch video of him playing this again! We are all in for a treat.

Just sublime , guitar playing doesn't get any better than this. A new discovery for me is Rory Hoffman whose Night Life just knocked me out. To stand out when you are on the same stage as Richard and Joscho, is an almost impossible task but Rory managed it. Thanks to all musicians for a brilliant concert including the indispensable Volker on bass. Bravo.

Nah. They did this set in San Pedro, California months ago and Rory kicked the same a- then. He is so good. What I love about this trio is that nobody is better than anyone else.

I had the pleasure of seeing this trio a few years ago in California at a little music store with about 40 folding chairs set up. Set in the front row Maybe 10 feet away. The best guitar show I will probably ever see live.

Rory plays many different instruments, very very well. Our Nashville based Western Swing band has been fortunate to have him play accordian & clarinet with us. He plays them as if they were both his primary instrument

Very good show and performance from this trio, and finally, i would like to ad my personal comment: its important to know that there's not only "the night life" Rory played that night....but ALL his solo was a master piece of his own. Three different guitar style three very fine guitar players but Rory knock me out real good ! I just hope he get more exposure and recognition in the future cause this man come from an unknown musical level... believes me.

I have never heard music that I have enjoyed as much, or had the deepest respect for. It was Django Reinhardt & Stephane Grappelli that truly moved me into discovering Lew London's album Swing time in Springtime. I studied piano with Mrs. Carlini & guitar with John Carlini who lived in my hometown of Summit NJ . BUT...NEVER HAVE I HEARD anything like Joscho Stephan, Richard Smith, & especially Rory Hoffman who has mastered the guitar in such a unique way, plays the xaphoon & has an incredible voice. I have such respect for these musicians and can only dream of playing the way they do. Thank you gentlemen for sharing your amazing music....when you play you make the Angels cry & the heavens dance.
