I first saw Rory at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society weekend in Nashville. I was blown away. Caught him recently with the Transatlantic Guitar Trio (with the incredible Richard Smith and Joscho Stephan) at Lord of the Strings Concerts in Southern California. “Hi level” doesn’t begin to describe him. You have to see him live!
We all are aware of the 5 senses. Sight is usually considered the most important. But. Hearing (sound) and touch sure can be magnified, without sight in music! Consider Art Tatum and Ray Charles on piano and now Rory Hoffman on Guitar! What great gifts to the world of music.

I think because Rory is blind his hearing is probably much better than the average person's. I think he deserves his own signature guitar from Martin, Taylor, PRS, etc. and his ears could fine tune the sound exactly to his liking.
