i love my ls2 helmet. Just picked mine up last week while in Tennessee to replace my eBay helmet. Not a huge fan of the full design, however, at least this one here does work well with my glasses and I do enjoy the vent on the top to keep my head cool. I had an 11 hour ride from Tennessee back to Buffalo New York and my head never sweat
I’ve been tempted to look at others just to see. But so far, I’m sticking with the LS2. Fitting glasses under is a big deal. Much easier than taking off, putting on the helmet and then forcing the glasses on. I ride quite a bit and I have noticed the fabric under the chin can loosen up some. Nothing bad though. I have the HJC cruiser half helment and wear it on really hot days. I wear prescription glasses so the visor leaves me a lot of room for my glasses. The only thing i am not a big fan of is it doesn't have vents. I have been looking at the LS2 but was concerned it wouldn't work with my glasses. Looks like it worked well for you and i also noticed you were wearing glasses as well. I have a Cardo and was wondering if it would clip on the side or do you have to purchase the built in unit?
I haven’t received the Cardo 2nd helmet unit yet. I hope to early this week. I’ll try to let you know or create a brief video showing how it works since there was some confusion when ordering it (I initially only received the clip on mic)-- I haven’t tried the HJC half shell although I had an older HJC that use to be my goto. Good value helmets I think. Some are heavy though. --as for the visor, it works well over glasses. But you do have to keep it on top and forward to clear them easily. But that’s how it should be worn anyway. So it does do a good job :) thanks for watching and for the comment!
Thanks for your concern. :) As I mention in the review, I’m aware of the risks as we all should be. I use a full face much or most of he time. But at 90 degrees or more with high humidity on lonely back roads…yeah, I’ll make the change for a while.
