Hero's design looks totally cool. But I genuinely feel that the design would be more complete and cohesive with an engine cowl. Does anyone else feel so?
As of now in the 160CC segment, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is the best 👍. But Hero has come up with a good product Xtreme 160R and we should be proud that both are Indian companies now leading the 160CC segment leaving behind the Honda and Yamaha. Both Indian made bikes are far superior in quality and performance than Honda and Yamaha in 160 CC segment.
@Ankit Pawar on 2019 Nov told to me same above. I tested fz, Pulsar125 and finally bought Pulsar 150. But, I sold it 2months before and bought rtr 160 4v bs6. It's comfortable and lot of features available, upgraded. GTT mode is advanced technology, Gear shifting is so soft. Foot pegs are comfortable and No pain on driving time. @Ankit Pawar You should drive upto max 45km speed until 2000km, by slowly increasing the throttle speed. To drive by owner only, periodical service must. I sold pulsar bcoz of facing technical problems and it's not comfortable for me. 15,000/- Loss for me, but apache satisfied me.

Wow, comparison i was looking for.... Hero has come up with a really exiting bike and I gonna give a tight fight to Apache in the segment. But my heart is still with Apache RTR 💙 Both bikes are absolutely value for money. Xtreme will excite a new biker but a more mature customer with performance in mind will choose the RTR.
Yaha RTR ke DRL ko leke majak kar rhe ho and at the same time wha Xtreme k Headlamp design & size, tail lamp design & size, after market kinda seat and it's weird design sab kuch ke saath compromise karne ke liye taiyar ho!! I still think the apache is much better 1. Better performance 2. Refined engine 3. Good quality switch gear 4. Good seat for the rider and pillion 5. Comfy suspension to tackle the bad roads Anyone buying an 150 cc bike wont be expecting anything more than this. And apache ticks all these boxes so it is still the winner for me
Hero finally enters the heart of young Indians...it has really an advantage over rtr160 and NS160 by comparing each aspects. Hope it sells well though :)) massive respect because of the price at which it is launched 👏

@Citizen Kolar do u have apache .I think those complaints are rectified by tvs now the engine was reliable the build quality is morethan enough and there is lot of service centrs in my town my friend who ride an apache for more than 5 years and still is working really good the condition is maintained by u

Riding RTR 1604V is just amazing. I have very less experience of riding bikes. Never took a ride in crowded city. But purchased RTR 1604V during lockdown to avoid public transport. I am driving on Mumbai Roads and highways with great confidence. Its very balanced and stable bike.
What a amazing comparison!! The cheap built quality of hero answers the question that how it managed to be 10kg lesser than TVS. The apache is solidly built from top to bottom they are not fool to make a bike which weighs 150kg!!. They had only one thought in mind strong and robust which makes it unbeatable in the segment.
Complete review! Good comparison between RTR and Xtreme! I can't move my eyes from the bike and the location! What a location!! This is the most required review. What is missing: 1. Tail light setting, 2. Shock absorb-er setting(adjustable or not), 3.Winkers, 4. Exhaust note and settings Hero cosmetically looks latest and modern, while RTR by heart is latest and modern. Proud to say I'm a apache bs4 owner.its so cool to ride in city and highways as well. Compared then bs4 and bs6 the head lamp looks way better in bs4.hero slightly steps in to the market right now I hope it's comeback very well like hero honda Karizma edition 😉.. all the very best hero ,,,, and I wish to tell zigwheels you guys are so interesting yar,, video looks so cool and background music awesome,,,and explanation is very very pleased to hear.good work zigwheels team 👍
11 days back I bought this xtreme 160R. In terms of reliability the name HERO itselfs says alot & major key difference between both is in xtreme u get kick + self start & all LED package lights with Hazard lights
I brought xtreme 1 week back, but the kick start is not working properly. In 10 times it was only working for 1-2 times. Are u facing the same problem?
Fantastic comparison! I'm really searching for a good detailed review comparing the apache 160 4v with xtreme 200s. Please do one when the bs6 variant of 200s is rolled out. Please please please :) It's not known how good the 200s's headlights are and I'm seeing conflicting reviews of its vibration level in bs4 version. The braking is supposed to be better than the apache, but I would like someone like zigwheels to properly compare it with its competitors in the 160 segment.

Hero always has the best designers in industry!!!! While improving their engine and making it competitive with RTR, they forgot to work on design!! Yeah their design too had improved a lot and the best in terms of them, but for competition, it's still looks odd!! Headlamp simply doesn't match with the rest of the body!!! The seat styling looks kinda aftermarket!!! And that taillamp...omg..what was that!!?? While talking about RTR, the eyebrow shaped DRLs are a mess with the new design!! However it's one's own choice, and these donot look that bad in real world either!!
I have apache rtr160 4v bs6 . And trust me guyss,, it is the real speed machine. Light+sound+riding position+millage+looks+braking all are awesome. 💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤tvs is awesome.
I would seriously recommend TVS to work on the front suspension for both 160 and 200, as they don't have any "other than RR310" which can handle without giving fear to the chest.

I test rode both the bikes, surprisingly i found Apache to be more comfortable compared to Hero extreme, surprising because i had higher expectations on Hero being newer and more stylish looking with all the tech.

@@_FridayFoodVlog__ apache is not just about speed dear. Apache is more practical. The ergonomics flaws will irritate everytime you hop onto your motorcycle. Believe me you will appreciate the small details in the apache everytime you ride it.
