You are right. The race at the end of the Radiator Springs Racers ride is the best part of the attraction. It starts out at a very leisurely pace and ends up very fast with the wind blowing through your hair. It's a lot of fun.

You are very welcome. When you go, try to visit for 2-3 days so you have enough time to check out the new Star Wars land and then go across to California Adventure to ride Radiator Springs Racers. You and your cousin will have a great time. You might want to go on this ride at least twice. It is a lot of fun. Have a great trip.

When you go, try to get fast passes (or MaxPass) early in the day so you and your family do not have to wait long in line. Once you have the passes, you can go enjoy other areas of California Adventure and return to Radiator Springs Racers when your ride time approaches.

One time that ride broke down and I was standing in the line for 3 hours😂 the people that worked there brought us free food and they all let us go to the bathroom and come back in line 😂😂

Wow. that is great guest service. Sure you had to wait a while as they fixed the ride, yet they gave your group food and let you out of the line to run to the bathroom. After all that waiting, you were then able to enjoy the ride. What an adventure.

It's amazing at how well designed this ride is. The designers put a lot of time into the layout and character of the ride and the surrounding area. Looks great. And then once you get on the ride, wow. You will have a great time.

I have heard this same thing from other people too. They were hesitant to go on the ride the first time, not knowing what to expect. As soon as the ride ended, they were ready to get right back in line for another go at it. They really enjoyed it.

You did it right. When visiting with friends and family, Fast Pass will save a ton of time waiting in line. If you are going on the ride by yourself, the single rider lines moves fairly quickly.

Since this is one of the more popular rides at California Adventure, this ride can get very busy. Still good to check out the lines. Sometimes during mid day, the line is short and there is not much of a wait. Otherwise, grab a fast pass first thing in the morning so your group does not have to wait long.

Yes it does. Disney did a great job with the design of the area. It looks and feels like you are in a canyon area with a real racetrack running through it.

Now I know why they could never do that in Disney World...the ride would be closed half the time because of all of the outside elements. It rains way too much as our Test Drive can attest...not a friend of that outside loop that the ride runs. This would fit so amazingly in Hollywood studios, but they would have to create something to cover up the outside sections or enclose it completely. What an amazing looking ride...so jealous!!!

Keep Disney in mind for when you are able to get to California. Give yourself a few days to really enjoy Disneyland and California Adventure. This way you are not rushed to squeeze things in and will really enjoy your visit.

Put Disneyland on your "someday" vacation list. When you do end up going, plan on going for several days. This way you can have a full day at Disneyland, a full day at California Adventure, time to visit Downtown Disney (the shopping area right between the two parks) and not feel rushed. You will have a great time.

It is scary at times, yet it is a "fun" type of scary. You know that since the ride is based on the kid friendly cars theme, it has to turn out ok for everyone which it does. The ride basically takes you through parts of the original cars storyline and ends with t he big race at the end. A lot of fun.

Both Disneyland and California Adventure are great parks. Each has it's own atmosphere and personality. If you have time when you visit, plan on at least one full day at each park to get the most from your trip. You will have a great time.

Test Track at Epcot is good too, just a very different attraction. It would be hard to have the same Radiator Springs racers in Florida due to the different weather and so much of the ride being outdoors.

Whenever you plan to go on this ride, go to this one first. That way you don't have to wait as long, grab your fastpasses and go on the ride at least 5 times or more because, if you come back you're going to wait very long. I'm going there on May 27th, as a field trip for our band at school. This is basically our plan because we don't want to wait cx

The "town" around the Radiator Springs Racers ride is very well designed. Lots of interesting things to see. A lots of creativity and detail went into the design of the area. Going there is much more than the ride itself.

If you do get out to California and visit California Adventure, be sure to head over to this ride first. Grab a fast pass for you and your group and have a great time on the ride. The California Disney parks are a bit different than the Florida parks and each location has attractions that are not at the others.

Only a short part of the ride is in the dark. The scene is more like a nighttime drive, rather than in full darkness. To help with the long lines, try to pick up a Fastpass or Maxpass or you can always choose the single rider line which is much shorter. The ride is one of Disney's best and too much fun to miss. Give it a try and see how you like it.
