Hi CK, Somehow im so impressed this awesome cafes list in Sarawak which u covered is really good. I had no idea such great cafes has been created by some proud Sarawakian Owners. Impressive effort by the cafe owners. I hv marked this locations in my next visit list. Btw im fr KL. Looking fwd to my S'wak trip.

You can do an episode of Sarawakian Homegrown Brand such as SCR, Sugarbun, Lee Fah, ....which are very strange to Malaysian genarally but very common in Sarawak. Sarawak always feel live in oversea when staying in Penisula because there's many thing we usually use in daily life are our homegrown product. From Soy sauce, ketchup, white pepper, instant noodles.... to our wild vegetables and fruits that only can be found in Sarawak.

Went to the one in la promenade. Was impressed with the cafe design. I tried the sarawak something² coffee bean. Turns out the mall also has Noms which is a local burger chain. Didnt know this unknown mall hides some good stuffs!

Talking about the sky windows that the view over the river is amazing... but the other side is awful with the ugly shops (sorry just not a fan of those basic terrace shops architecture). But I must say the viewing tower itself is pretty unique, almost close to what we would call 'wes anderson' style!
