Saka has always been a staple for England, even if he's tired he always sprints his heart out. I was sooo gutted he missed his penalty in the last Euros final against Italy because he didn't deserve the hate. Really glad he was in the spotlight for this one, well deserved, great goal.
Absolutely, spot on. I was so angry when I heard about all the vile racist hate he got after that game, so I was over the moon when he scored his penalty tonight. It shows what a fantastic character this young man is and I thank God he's an Englishman, and that's coming from me, a Spurs fan! 🙋♂
The hero was Saka no doubt With like 10-15 mins left, 1-0 up Switzerland, with their holding defensive midfielders and defenders, I thought it was definitely over
@@jtaylor9562 How adorable, so I am assuming the Britain is the worlds superpower - yknow, since Americans are of English decent... Thats your logic. clueless kúnt.
At the end of this contest , worst case scenario, gareth has got us to one qtr final.. Two semis and one final ! With the golden generation what did mcclaren, swen or capello do ?
I can imagine, having the one of the deepest squad in the world, the best players for the longest time and not amounting to much. Must suck😂 but this is their chance
Kane identifying as a Tree absolutely rooted to the spot most of the game ...funny how we start playing when he's of the pitch ..better off without hin get Watkins on instead
I don't understand how Saka gets the most criticism. He was England's best player in the first half. He scored the equaliser and his penalty. Where is this energy for Foden and Kane. Didn't look like they were even playing 😂😂😂
@@CHRONNY11323 Yea, not by England fans. All that 'critisism'? Insta and twitter ran mass traces and 98% came fromm outside England. Mostly from the middle east, India and Italy.
English goalkeepers in big tournaments from 1990-2012: 36 penalties, 2 saves. Pickford: 14 matches 4 saves. Give the man the credit he deserves, he ain't a sidenote.
you guys esoecially this english team is a disgr@ce ... Arrogant, unfair playing and falling by slight touch, no manors like pickford and the Refferee was Italian... soo that is why you guys got referee support.
@@africangodman6145 YES! Man is made for international football. TBH I’d start him v Netherlands, as he’s been more dangerous in open play that HC… but maybe impact sub is his role. The other thing that I liked about his penalty is his trademark short walk up which contrasts w the other guys run-ups. Keeper couldn’t get a rhythm bc ENG boys were so varied. Brilliant.
@@matthewdanna8800 YES, replace him with Kane for the first half to see what impact he has and keeping Saka on the right. He's very good with his left foot 🤔.
@matthewdanna8800 Wait a minute, just had a thought about left footed players 🤔 and I'm no expert but would they cross the ball better on the left winger position?
If it wasn’t for his goal there wouldn’t have been a penalty shootout and after 2020 euros I can understand why he/she said they are proud of him I feel so happy for him too you can see the smile of relief and redemption on his a face !

@MatthewPorter-jq8le so kane, bellingham and co did not fall on multiple occasions by sliggt touch?? so one incident equals all of yours? he just tried to copy your style
Drop Saka they said! 22 years of age... has played both in attack and defence where needed for his country... scored a goal that kept us in the tournament.... then has the balls to step up again in a shootout after all he went through 3 years ago and slots it home with such confidence. This is why he's such a special player and why the more England fans get on his back and talk utter rubbish about him the more they're just cutting off their nose to spite their face.
@@kevinb9830mate what liberals do when they find a black England player is make up that everyone hates them so they can run to their aid/defence and feel like they’re Jesus of Nazareth.
Love this! Wanted to see a reaction video by some people that had actually played internationally. That final reaction was just golden. Thanks for posting it! 👍😃🏴
3 🦁 Roaring & best passer, forced to sit on bench, but comes on & pounces like a Lion to nail the 5th pen. The biggest stress & pressure any player can face is the 5th & deciding penalty. Cmon Gareth, if u start Trent as wing back by using struggling Foden as an impact sub (as he has done very few great plays & and can't handle long, humid summer days & short hot nights) With Trent starting at right wing back, we can win remaining games in 90 mins. Pen KOs are NOT a lottery. It takes real bravery & top skill & 🦁 monster mentality !
England played Serbia, Denmark, Slovenia, Slovakia, Switzerland. Not a single game where England was the better team. Gareth Southgate luckiest man alive.
But they are expected to beat this teams. We shall see if they get a Netherlands for now they was always the favourites ro go thru to the finals on their side of the draw when Italy fumbled it against Switzerland. If England was on the other side of the draw they would have been gone by now
I have always loved the way Karen Carney shows her emotions, I remember her reaction when she scored for England as a 17 year old in the 2005 Women's Euro's in England ... Good On Yer Woman!.
People have slated England for the way they have played but come on guys get behind these guys don’t matter how you win as long as you win and these boys are doing they just made history winning there first penalty shoot out and now gonna make history again by bringing home that trophy
It won't matter one jot whether I "get behind" them or not. All I've seen is us be poor AF Vs 5 teams, 4 of which were out in the group stages or last 16, one of which were less than a minute from knocking us out, The other one? Absolutely NOBODY was talking about before the tournament began. They knocked out Italy? Big whoop! Heading into the tournament, most people agreed Italy were s**t. So then the team that beat them were suddenly billed as world beaters? GTFO. The facts are these: we've played 4 poor to average sides and we haven't deserved to win a single one of those matches outright. We've scored FOUR goals in 510 minutes of football; that's way LESS than a goal a game. We've been second best in every single game. And to top it all off, we've yet to face a real top team. Holland aren't elite, but they're in that 2nd tier of top teams. Even if we stumble past them, we'll get swept aside by Spain (the only elite team we'll play) in the final. Southgate has been uber lucky with the draw AGAIN, and our fans are dumb enough to fool for it. Nothing has changed, we'll still lose when it matters to a top team at a major tournament. It sucks, but that's the reality.
He’s not wrong though is he? The only side that’s done more then this England team was in 1966 far better then the so called golden generation who were shite
Nobody, but the choice was either to do this or miss out on watching the penalties and try to talk about the Netherlands game while nobody is watching anyway.
Joleon smirking when Laura mentions Gary's penalty record with England 🤣 I know Karen gets a lot of stick but she perfectly encapsulates the nerves of being an England fan during penalties here

Can't believe what aye was hearing on the bbc commentary and pundits ....England were rubbish scraped through against Switzerland.....best England squad ever 😆 🤣
When Saka scored his pen, I said to my massive football fan son it was like a Stuart Pearce moment. He looked at me like I was deranged. The look of confusion on his face when two seconds later Guy Mowbray mentioned Stuart Pearce was priceless :-)
Obviously they did, but do you think those pundits wanted to be doing pre match analysis for Netherlands v Switzerland at that moment (ITV coverage that 7pm) whilst a pen shootout was going on?
Probably the same person who was watching Sky Sports News when we lost to Iceland in 2016 and saw Steve McClaren saying the only thing they had was "the big boy up front" just as he scored what turned out to be the winner.
Before the match: *Switzerland are a great team and will send England home! 3-0 ez gg* After the Match: Waa! Waa! England have it easy! Waa! Waa! The salt... It's delicious!
The media is gonna be confused they can’t say any passive aggressive things against saka now, and foden played the position he wanted and he still played shit 😂😂😂
