@@javierjav8864 "Chama" has two meanings in portuguese, one is flame, the other is to call someone in the sense of "come here", Alex doesnt know exactly when but it started as a joke and suddenly he adopted that as his jargon.
@@slicvm I think he has a love-hate relationship with how this has all gone down. Izzy cleared out his division while throwing jabs at his rival from another sport who came to his current gig and doubled his achievements in a shorter time without saying much but somehow being more charismatic. Izzy may have avenged his loss but he also created a legend within UFC. I think you are right at least a decent amount.
Alex has become one of my favorite fighters. It’s hard not to love the guy and what he’s done in the amount of time he’s done it in is simply incredible.
Bro he has four belts. Two belts in two different weight classes in two different sports. And he wants to fight Tommy aspinall for the heavyweight belt next which has potential of setting up a Jon Jones Alex Pereira fight the dude is doing what Israel adesanya failed to do
Lmao bro i never forget that he said that after ufc 295 when Alex won the belt at 205 then last week also he said he was on another level compared to Alex looking back I know he is regretful 😂
Pereira has the best and most original entrance in the UFC... it's excellent to see the crowd getting pumped up with the roar of someone heading into battle.
Wow it was a great ko , but bro nothing is beating max’s ko 😭 he put it all on the line even though he was winning, and got a vicious buzzer beater ko . That’s a BMF.
@@davidish6079that last hype video they showed of the prelims was a perfect lead In to the ppv, I've been watching since early 2000s and this is as good of a night as I can remember. Top to bottom there was no time to leave the TV
What a rush ! Nothing tops the energy that man must feel walking out to that atmosphere and draws that bow. Respect to these warriors going out there for battle, putting everything on the line for our entertainment.
Unbelievable what Alex has achieved in his fighting Career but the Ufc career is ridiculously good 2 weight champ and defended in less than 3 years as an mma pro if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I would never believe it was possible. 👏👏👏👏
@@magneticgray5.03def was fast tracked. But if you think about it , izzy went his whole reign without facing any grapplers. The only one who has decent grappling was jan and alex beat him. So if you talk about him you gotta say the same for izzy who had triple the amount of fights
@@matthewdejoy-wm6mr I agree kinda. But u realize Yoel Romero was a top wrestler right? Ya he never used it in fighting but he’s still a grappler essentially. Robert Whittaker is a very good grappler. Paulo costa is a black belt in BJJ. Marvin Vettori tried to grapple but failed. And Derek Brunson was also a wrestler . Gastelum was a wrestler who also didn’t use it much. He may not have fought top grapplers or guys that don’t use it much, or have tried and failed, but he’s fought many grapplers. Alex has literally fought all strikers except 1 fight maybe 2 if u wana count Jan. But Jan is primarily a striker . And when Jan fought Alex, he didn’t try to grapple at all. All these guys try to make a statement against Alex in the striking and it never works out. E
Imagine this if he goes to yet another weight class and takes a belt there that's 3 belts in 3 weight classes nobody in mma history has been called a triple champ in this incredible short amount of time he would then enter as possibly in conversation the greatest martial artist of all time. This guy who is not really a fighter but competitor or could we say his specialty would be labeled knock out artist. This guy kicking ass with as a 1 trick pony a knock out artist.
This time around Alex didn’t look as serious. It felt like he was holding back a smile the whole time and knowing what he did to Jamal makes it that much funnier.
