54:45 This opponent seemed to be mulliganing to turn 3 Raffine, because their deck doesn't function without it. Maybe turn 3 Gix is the secondary plan.

Yeah…. But then we can’t dig, and they leyline the 7/6 in response and we have nothing good to calamity. He is one mana short of doing the full spree

@@dougisacat He doesn't need to dig. He has eight mana, Calamity costs six mana. The two open mana is the exact amount he needs to give his board hexproof + indestructible at instant speed in response to the opponent's face-up leyline.

@@whiteboysushi I saw that line and read the comments to make sure someone had pointed it out. It's rough some times watching the missed opportunities. But I'm sure I make more play mistakes than Jim overall.

Spree cards are definitely hard! And for the record my motivation in posting this was not "lol jim u play bad" but "Wow, I never expected that mode to be relevant outside of EDH, this card might be even better than I realized."
