I have never realized how different the arcade and the nes/famicom were

The Ocean team got really creative with their sound effects!

I grew up with the GBA version! It was bundled with all the Mario Advance games and SuperStar Saga! Now I play the original arcade version whenever I see a cabinet and have it on my Switch-those 2 are my favorite versions ever!!

I remember when me a good friend of mine used to compete against each other's high scores in the arcade version. He sadly passed away two years ago.

I love hearing the sound when Mario hits a platform on the Amstrad CPC version

I had the Atari 2600 version first. Actually very very fun! I was a little let down with the NES version as I thought it’d be pixel perfect to the arcade. Darn that white and green Luigi outfit!

How come they never re release the Arcade version in future consoles? Namco Likes re releasing the arcade version of Pac Man Non Stop, so why Nintendo never re release the arcade version of Mario Bros?

Man, seeing the Amstrad port in comparison with Donkey Kong on the Amstrad is so jarring. It looks HORRIBLE here! Wasn't there a DOS port btw or was that fanmade?

Its so hard to tell the ZX Spectrum and Atari 2600 apart from all the other systems! Both always produce a near arcade perfect replica!

There's even a clone of Mario Bros for MSX called Brother Adventure made by Zemina!

Good thing Mario Bros. Has a Europe Version because the international stinks because they don’t have Cutscenes

The first version I played was the NES version. But would absolutely love to try the Atari 8-Bit & Commodore version's.
