I am not a groomer by any means but I know how to use the clippers to at least keep his feet clean.. no he tratado la cara todavía porque no se como mantenerlo tranquilo. I do the feet when he is really tired and laying down.. a veces no se da de cuenta. Any and all tips for standard poodle for someone like me who has no grooming experience is welcome. Maybe tips and tricks of how to do it at home when I don't have the table and all that. I take him in for profesional grooming but I want to be able to keep it up at home so the visits to groomer can be spread apart more.. Love the videos! And Mia is gorgeous!
I would say take it slow. Use treats if you need to motivate her. Use a happy hoody to dry her if the dryer scares her. Poodles are very smart, soon you will be able to groom her. ❤️🐩🐾

Thank you! I tried to bath her every 3 weeks or 2 weeks, just depending on how dirty she was. I also brushed her every day. Around 7 month old she started with the coat change and that is a pain because they get matted super easy. So I suggest you tu brush her every day.
How do you teach your puppy to be so good for grooming ? My 5 month old standard poodle flinches while I trim her legs almost like it tickles, i've been grooming her once every two weeks but shes still a freak anout it
I started slow and praising her frequently. Mia struggles with her face and ears. She is almost 2 years old and still has a hard time whe I work on her head. Just be patient and don’t give up 👍
I use Gaib and Kenshii scissors. The dryier is “Master equipment” and Is not great. I really want to upgrade to an independent blow dryer and a standard dryer. You can find al of this at www.groomerschoise.com www.petedge.com
I like my 5 in one clippers for the face, feet, tail and privates. For heavy all over body clipper you can use a whal or Andys. I would suggest to be double or single speed. The ones with more speed tend to get hot faster.
