Being considered a “Wild Child” for just showing a healthy curiosity for the world is genuinely heartbreaking. No child deserves to be punished for existing, especially in the “missing” short. The courage neeeded to share this kinda stuff, immaculate.
I REALLY NEEDED THOSE BLOOPERS- wild child and me’s sillies are a like in some way, I don’t get hit but I do get yelled at it feels like, even if it’s not yelling, tone and words hurt me easily- BUT DAMN I LOVE WILD CHILD

This series has been absolutely amazing, I can relate to this wild child so much, i know how it feels to be abandoned by someone you were meant to trust.

i don’t remember my younger years so i might ask my mom about them, 3 of the only memories i remember was being diagnosed with autism at 2, being stung by a bee at 2, and moving to a new state. i might also share some of my stories. also im so sorry this happened to you :(
Wild Child is a precious little bean and I want to protect them. But we can't change the past. I'm glad you're in a much better place now at least, just sad you went through so much pain. I've had issues with my own mother but nothing remotely this bad.
It's never fun when you make a mistake or a mass. Especially when you try really hard not to. For me I guess it's when I actually cook something. I try to cook for the right amount of time, put whatever needs to go into the food, and when it comes out burnt yeah I do feel sad but when they come out looking perfect I'm beaming with joy and pride. Yeah I'm still learning, yes I'm learning to cook with the stove and oven, yes I do have trust issues with the oven cause I got brunt twice pulling pizzas out, but that all comes with learning.
I can’t say I understand and relate to all of the abuse and everything you had to go through. But that last part, having someone in your life that made you feel afraid to learn to make mistakes, that I understand that is something I had to deal with in my own life, and I’m so sorry you had to deal with that, with any of that crap but I’m so glad you overcame it..🙂❤️🩹
We all have scars but some are deeper than others but we can heal from the people that care that want to help and eventually we will heal and make the world a better place

This resonates really heavily with me. I wasn’t abused, but I was a sick kid with a sick mom. I’m pretty traumatized from the medical shit I went through, and the resulting trauma responses I hid for years. I was spoiled. My dad and papa had good jobs. I had lots of toys. My toys were my best friends. I told them what I couldn’t tell other people. And now my family is less safe. I’ve seen parts of them that aren’t the best. And trying to heal that sick little kid while preparing for college and beyond is so scary. Maybe one day I’ll be able to give her what she needs. Like you’ve done for wc

I have a feeling someone in your family told you all this stuff, you normally wouldn't remember all this since you were 2, or you would've blocked them out, unless you do remember them.
I can relate to wild child so much my mother has always been unkind I have siblings now and she uses me as a stand in mom. She says I’m a freak because I have ADHD and am Bi. Hope life gets better.
I cried for some of this and I felt like it was fulmilar like the shoe lace book and spilling juice also being in my room sometimes cant remember my past but when I do I cry and cry then I forget why I was crying afterwards
