I have two Odyssey in the past and they are great cars. I just switched to 2019 Sienna because I don't like the last and new Odyssey styling. And there is no AWD option in Odyssey. If you want styling, get a Sedan or SUV. I use my minivan as daily driving and weekend camping trips. The Sienna is not sexy, but for me, it suits me better than other minivans in the market.

Hey, that's the same key fob as my 2008 sienna le! These vans are very reliable, but really need a redesign. I like the safety features and sun shades on this trim. Also love the openable rear quarter windows ( though the le should get pwr like the xle). I am very upset with Toyota for snubbing Android auto, my Hyundai even has it. Hoping the next van redo retains the best in class cargo volume and openable rear quarter windows. Crash ratings for this van aren't great.

MikesCarInfo. Excellent review. Although one thing you should point out is, this engine is the new D4-S V6, with both Direct and Multi-Port injection. This eliminates Direct Injections problem with intake valve carbon build up, and offers more tuning options, hence the increased power. I'm glad to see you're still showing the undercarriage. One trend I don't like with most new cars is, the White Gauge lighting with White indicator needles. Not only are they boring, but they aren't as easy to see at a glance. My ''17 Camry has these. That's the one thing I miss about my Jetta, are the Indigo blue gauges with red indicator needles. By the way Toyota's new 2.5L 4 cylinder is also D4-S, and the 2018 F-150's engines are all Dual Injection as well. Thanks for your great reviews.

Don’t be fooled this is based on firsthand experience. This vehicle has issues with tires wearing uneven and excessively. Be ready to change tires at just 17K miles. Read complaints at Sienna chat forum. Toyota has no fix for this issue as of now and dealers will tell you it’s normal tire wear. If you have less than 12K miles and within the first year I suggest check your tires ASAP for the uneven and excessive wear and complaint right away with Toyota USA they might cover your tires warranty. Past one year and 12K Miles you’re on your own. I’m planning to trade mine for a Honda ASAP as tire or suspension issues could potentially be a safety issue. This is a family car and safety should be top priority!

Why does it matter if a surface is hard or soft to so many people? The only time you touch most of these surfaces is when you are cleaning the vehicle. Just never understood this.

Have a 16 Sienna and I’m not buying another. 1 reason - 2nd row lack of versatility. For families who actually need 7 seats all the time and with some being car seats, the sienna second row seats just plain suck. Look at the versatility of the Honda’s second row seat. It’s actually a big deal in day to day life with the van

Plastic material inside the sienna is very cheap. Worst plastic I have ever felt in a car. I owned a 2012 sienna, but got rid of it due to many issues that the car had within the first 2 years of owning it. At 18,000 miles, all four sets of tires were replaced with new ones due to immature wear. At 33,000 the tires were worn out again. Avoid owning the Sienna..... Look for other vehicles. Even though this is the 2019 Sienna, it's pretty much the same as the 2012.. Except the updated exterior and interior styling.

SoCalAsianGamer that’s something that my 2010 Toyota Camry LE 2.5L 6A has. It has about 176,000 miles built in 10/09. My steering wheel shakes on the highway even after going past around 70mph. All my tires are in good shape and have great balance and wear left in it. I got a used dorman steel rim put on my drivers side after I got a new tire on my drivers side months before and I just had my brakes replaced because of pulsation and blue spots on my rotors. It seems like every year my Camry needs new brakes on the front which is annoying but is under warranty at a mechanic shop. Even after I got everything done it only worked for like a day or 2 and then the shaking came back to where the steering wheel shakes as I’m going higher speeds on the freeway. I even got an oil change too and who ever did it messed my Camry up too because now when I accelerate the engine is slightly louder when I press the gas more you hear it too but it isn’t like loud loud but I noticed the day I had it done and drove it on the highway it did that and now it does that. My check engine light never been on and hasn’t been on since we got this car 7 years ago with 35,000 miles. The engine still revs and has power and is completely fine and functional but I find it weird that it does that now even I got the pennzoil 0w-20 sae synthetic gold oil. Even though I wanted high mileage.

Don’t buy sienna , since it will cost you 800 every two years on tire since front suspension design have faulty parts. I have 2014 sienna and I already went thru 4 set of tires and 4 time Alingment. I contact dealer and NHTSA but no luck , google have lots of complaints about this issue. Do you home work before purchase this vehicle. We have four sienna in home and all have same issue .

Tafs Group same issue here I have 2017. I’ve read 2011 has issues as well which is the first year for this redesign! I will be contacting NHTSA and complain for potential safety issue!

Don't buy Toyota Sienna I always had a Toyota Sienna, and two weeks ago I took out a lease of a 2019 Toyota Sienna, and it's really a bad vehicle, the major problem what it has that the gas pedal has a delay of two seconds later, what I mean to say is when you merge into a lane on the freeway it takes 2 seconds until when it's response, it has a very bad delay, most people who took this vehicle weren't happy. go search online about the gas pedal delay. before you get a new Toyota Sienna

@@jeangrey2788 So I've never owned a Grand Caravan before (or a Sienna for that matter) but for a time I did drive railroad crews back and forth while working for PTI. PTI had a fleet of Grand Caravans with a few Town&Country vans as well (the Chrysler van). I can tell you that I was uncomfortable in the driver seat with my knees constantly on the knee panel or center console. I can also tell you that the vans constantly blew turn signal bulbs up front. Several of the vans experienced persistent electrical problems that never were able to be solved no matter how many times they were sent for service. One of the vans even cut off on me while on I-75 just south of Atlanta at 3 in the morning while I was moving a crew to the yard up there. Now these would have been like 2013-14 year models. something like that. I do currently own a 2916 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel. And while the truck has all the features in the world someone could want, the truck is at risk of burning down at any time with a recall with no fix. I would trust the Sienna long before a Grand Caravan for overall reliability even though the new Siennas have a fuel pump recall.

A grand caravan drives like a shopping cart . A Toyota is a top of line van mechanically you can’t get much better. We just bought one and have been driving it for a while and have had no problems .
