During night, I just noticed with my new 2021 Cherokee 80th anniversary, if you have the LED fog lamps even if they aren't turned on they will illuminate if you turn corners depending on how sharp the turn is (also turns on with turn signals).

I have a 2019 trailhawk,Fog lights turn on when you make turns with lights on ,mine also has lighted cup holders.

I have a 2020Cheokee Latitude plus 4X4. There isn't that much of a difference with the 2021 model. I had a 2014 Compass, and the Cherokee is so much better in all ways in and out. On my Compass, you had a lot of wind noise going down the highway. The Cherokee has very little and sounds and feel so much sturdier. Also the back end of the Cherokee looks so much better than the Grand Cherokee, and that was a big selling point for me.

The only problem I have with this and many more vehicles is using the brake light as an indicator, the top of that tail light where the led strip cuts off on the part of the tail light that isn’t on the trunk but it could’ve also ran from there onto the trunk which could’ve been the indicator light which wouldn’t have made then put the indicator light with the brake light but that’s just me

I have the 2020 Trailhawk, higher trim so has more little lighting add ons. Mine has little lights in the bottle holders of the door. The door handles are also lit. And that little pocket in front of the shifter has a little light along with the 4x4 knob. A lot of thought was put into the lighting of Cherokee.

Thank you for the fine review. I just purchased 2021 TH. My dash lights are dim. Plus I can’t seem to get out of the dash set up mode. A trip to the dealer is next.

Just got our new Cherokee Limited a couple days ago, fully loaded... and no lights in the cup holders. :( Was this a money saving decision? I had the Cherokee when it first came out, and the cup holders were lit. Heck, the 2017 Renegade I just traded in had lit cup holders. Such a silly thing to complain about, but is such a nice feature to have. Other than that, loving the car so far.

For the life of me, I can’t find a proper diagram of the headlights. I’m trying to figure out why there are a few reflector lights in the inside of the lamps along with the projector. It doesn’t appear to change when the high beams are, but I’m curious to know how they supplement the low beams and why the projectors alone aren’t enough.

Why is the right front fog light turn on and off and the left one stayed on at the 3 minute mark? Mine does that too and it does not make sense.

The interior lights appear to be LED by color. My 80th Anniv lights appear to be non LED excepting the rear seats. Maybe a date of manufacture issue.

Has anyone else noticed that the headlight seems to get brighter when turning? Like if you turn to the right, the right headlight or fog light seems to get brighter. Same turning left.

It is just the angle of the light to the camera.

I am renting a 2021 Jeep Cherokee Ltd while my car is in the shop. I have the headlights set on automatic. I have had people flash their high beam lights at me like mine are on. I know where the high beam switch is and so I know they are not on. Is this because the headlights are LED and brighter than most cars? I'm confused. Thanks.
