Man your videos are amazing, you go above and beyond with showing overlooked but important features. Also that little yellow hand cracks me up don't stop using that haha.
The Taos is so close to being a great vehicle, but there are just a few spots where it fails. Not having the turn signals in the mirrors, not lighting all the switchgear and glovebox, having a really simple digital cluster on SE models, etc. It would only take a little bit to push it over as being a really nice vehicle without being too expensive, but they miss on just a few items. It's frustrating.
Price man, can’t get everything. Defiantly offers more than the competition (minus a power lift gate which would’ve been nice for the price). I’m honestly strained between picking this or the Honda HRV (EX-L AWD)
@@gian_mThe Taos would be less boring for sure! I actually have a 2015 Golf TDI which has been an amazing car. It's just a bit too small, hence the reason I'm kind of looking at larger vehicles. My last car was a 2001 Golf TDI which I sold after 18 years and 400K miles. Amazing cars.
I am shocked that Volkswagen did not illuminate the interior cabin light buttons that should be standard across-the-board. And curving headlights with the steering wheel are a must for me because if they are fixed I cannot see what is around the corner so active headlights do make a big deal because I will never lease a car without them
11:40 Although a stupid oversight, I think you could fix that with just a couple of circle glow in the dark stickers. When you get in the vehicle all the interior lights should be on, and that should be enough to make the stickers glow slightly for the duration of most night drives.
Hi one question, mine is the sel same as yours, I think , it’s the awd trim and so wanted to know if the lights have the feature that you are on high beams all time and it will switch the lights off independently as the camera see the coming traffic ? I think is call the dynamic light assit , or the DFS or the adaptive lighting , I wanted to asked you that if you know ?

And so one more thing , I don’t know if this happened to you , but like every time I turn on my car and have to drive it , I have to enable manually the light assit by pushing the ligth lever forward, and so when I turn it off light assit goes off? Do you have to do the same ? I was maybe thinking is the memory light that is not set, or maybe because I been driving in eco mode
@@mateoyanez2955 Yes that is what it is supposed to do. It gives you the ability to quickly go to low beams just in case the lights are blinding someone.
Hey Mike, I drive a Lincoln MKZ with the auto dimming headlights. HaHa they dim whenever I an behind a vehicle EXCEPT the troopers that are driving the newer Dodge Charger that has a singular tailight. Luckily I haven't been knocked for failure to dim yet. {Knock on wood buddy}
