How to Replace a Honda Key Fob Battery - Quick & Easy Guide

Step-by-Step Guide:
Keep Keychain Attached: No need to remove any keychain; simply slide out the key and set it aside.
Open the Fob: Locate the small notch on the key fob. Insert a nickel into the notch for a perfect fit, twist gently to pry open the fob without pressing any buttons.
Remove the Old Battery: Observe how the CR2032 battery is secured; it’s hooked on one side and spring-loaded on the other. Use your finger to gently dislodge the battery by pushing it towards the spring-loaded side.
