Mike Elko is the defensive play caller and the head recruiter. The A&M defense has been excellent and A&M had one of the best transfer portal classes during the offseason. He pick up key guys like Scourton who has been one of the best D-Linemen in the country and probably best NFL prospect at his position
@jaylucien669 I think they got a deal with Jimbo. Only something like 75 million to get out. Him leaving is worth much more. The pleasure to have Jimbo leave should cost 120 to 150 million. I'm so happy he is gone. If I had a lot of money, I would have assisted in the pleasure of paying to fire him. It's so rewarding.
Personality and work, Elko reminds me of Coach Nick Saban. Good things are about to happen in College, Station. I've said that after every coaching change at Texas A&M but this time its.........
What if A&M Is actually a really good team this year? Look at what Arkansas just did to Tennessee, and what Vanderbilt just did to Alabama. Missouri beat Vandy
I whole heartedly agree with you. I will even take what you said and go in a different direction with it. If they know Michigan SUCKSand is a bad team. Why are they still putting Texas on a Pedestal?
Looking at their team sulking on the sideline as they were getting trounced showed their true character. I wasn't at the game so I couldn't see the sideline the entire game, but what was shown on TV didn't have a single person stepping up to be a leader.
People need to start seriously considering A&M as a contender to make it to Atlanta. Their schedule is absurdly easy and if they win all remaining games (except Texas) they have tie breaker over Tennessee and LSU. They just need Texas to beat Georgia, Tennessee to beat Alabama, and ole miss to drop one somewhere and they’re in Atlanta. Against Texas. Also, what happens if Alabama is 7-1 in sec play and A&M is 7-1? Because they would have a tie record against common opponents?
@PanthersFan44 they will beat Texas in College Station. That Michgan win is not looking like such a big win. Then they played UTSA, ULM, Colorado State and Mississippi State. Really. And they were having trouble with Mississippi State in the 1st half. Wait till Texas plays OU, Georgia Arky, Kentucky and Vandy along with Texas a&m. They will finally have to play difficult games all in a row.
@@PanthersFan44going to be a war. There is a clear upper echelon of teams that can compete (UT/a&m/OhSt/Georgia) ...but any within that upper echolon can beat the others on any given Saturday.
3 of the top 4 teams in America play in the Big Ten Conference. USC and the rest of these West Coast teams have looked terrible this year in their new conferences. No more wacky 65-58 games against Washington State and Arizona, now they're learning what trench warfare and defense are
@@PanthersFan44 but ND stinks imo. they got army and navy soon anyway that’ll tell it for me because those are tough teams. not taking anything away from A&M but QB play was beyond garbage on both sides
@@GoatedAtNFS Conner Weigman hurt his throwing arm on the first drive. He torched mizzou and didn’t miss a single throw. He isn’t gonna win the heisman but is more than capable of getting A&M to be a fringe playoff team
