I think, the biggest difference was after the linemen injuries, they shuffled things around and put where they aren't often lined up...and somehow they were running the ball really good after that. I think they stumbled onto something if they are smart enough to see it
@@davidgerald133 they also stopped just solely running it up the middle and did some outside zone. That up the middle crap only works if you have a big bruiser like Derrick Henry or if your Oline can make huge holes.
Never fails.. Before the game “the Steelers are gonna run all over them”… After the game: “the Steelers were missing starters, this win isn’t impressive”
That’s exactly what I don’t understand. He acts like he was an elite qb. You would think he would be a little more understanding of quarterbacks seeing he attempted to be one
Dan sounds like he lost money or something 😂 wether you like them or not that was an impressive win by Dallas, they’re defense actually looked pretty good
This easily could have been a blowout win. Dak had a bad game . If he had a good or great game and the field goal didn’t get blocked it could have been high 30s to 17 win . And I know could haves don’t count but we moved that ball on Pittsburgh fairly well. Go cowboys!
Hard disagree. He’s been on a serious role ever since he abandoned the Carson Wentz bandwagon. The cowboys looked reallllly rough. Only bright spot was they showed grit.
@@CoreySpitz yeah even as a Panthers fan, Cam catching strays over not diving on that Super Bowl fumble will ALWAYS be warranted..... his performance from start to finish that day and how he handled the fallout after was one of the most pathetic showings i've ever seen in my life
@@mattcarberry368 How does the NFL have… ‘The Catch’ ‘Wide Right’ but not ‘Kryptonite’ 🤷♂ (‘Newton’s First Law’ would be preferable, but it’s too wordy)
So was that entire drive he engineered to win the game. So was his heads up play of jumping o on that fumble by the RB at the goal line? Why no mention of that? Why?
@@rgtunderworldrgt7773they just hater cuh let them be salty Dak is our guy its amazing to me how hard they will bash him but never give him his praise when he needs it stay mad. 🫵🏽😂 🤠💙
@@rgtunderworldrgt7773 Both be true. Prescott can have won on a final drive and cause 3 turn overs... The defense won the game which was surprising. You folks need to remove Prescott's wiener from your mouth.
@@nuri345 Dude so TRUE. They Hate the Cowboys More than they Love their own teams. Burrow? Threw 5 Tds yesterday, Had a bad pick that cost them . Scores 35 points and still loses. Nobody saying shhhht about him Romo scored 48? Vs the Colts, Manning and loses. And he's a choker? Dickhead Cowboy hate He and Dak
As a Steelers fan, our run defense was almost nonexistent in the second half when we needed it and our passing game was awful all night. The turnovers kept this from being a blowout and Dallas didn't even play that well.
Dak will never get credit but their Beloved Matt Stafford and Joe Burrow are 1-4 right now, their beloved Aaron Rodgers and Brock Purdy are on Ls but they make excuses for those guys.
Exactly then try to come up with a excuse to not give them credit im tired of him, elle duncan , cris canty takes on my cowboys cuz they love moving the goal post smfh
The Cowboys' offensive execution was ugly. They only had that many yards because the Steelers' bad offense, gave Dallas so many offensive opportunities. Credit to Dallas for winning, but they are very lucky they weren't playing a team with better offensive weapons and playcalling
@@willjamesjryes and no .. u gotta take into account we are without 3 All Pro (yes 3) players Deron Bland -CB- Micah Parson and DLaw -DE- . I love how y’all easily forget the cowboys just played 3rd string players and rookies on the road and still won but somehow manage to complain about Pittsburgh.. before the game y’all was praising Justin fields for looking better as a QB and being efficient and how the good the Steelers looked at 3-1. Now since they’re playing the cowboys all of a sudden they’re a bad team on defense and offense .. when they had a more stout running attack then us . Outside of cd lamb who is a go to player for us ? They have Pickens I don’t recall dak having the ability to run outside the pocket like fields can .. just stop the cap
It is almost like Parsons and Lawerence are undisciplined and all about rushing the passer and the second line guys will stay in their gaps and follow their pursuit angles to stop the run.
I noticed the same thing. The Dalla ends in this game were fighting to maintain the edge on the off tackle runs. I wonder if it is a player issue or if the scheme was altered because the two starters were out... Surely something changed scheme wise with Parson and Lawrence out of the game.
YES, people do always talk more favorably about their favorite teams, duhhh.... are you new to sports lmao?!. Just cuz the Cowboys aren't one of Dan's favorites, doesn't mean he's stupld OR deliberately trying to hurt your feelings, Mr. Gump. You should only watch analysts that like your team, since you can't take the heat.
We all know how much he wouldve glazed Josh Allen, with a poem of overcoming adversity and perseverance, actually the whole GetUp table. Let's just thank god the Bills and Jets have been losing so we get a break from hearing live on air knob slobbing
Dan really saying “if the fumbled ball bounced somewhere else” 😂😂😂. That’s sounds like a complaint from a 4 year old, dude. Might as well say “That Steeler’s pass could’ve been off by an inch and it would have been game over”. I can’t believe Dan is an analyst
@@jstew4075 listen u loose your 2 star defensive ends then the rookie defensive end gets injured your rookie right tackle gets injured and Zack Martin gets injured your wide receiver gets injured and you find a way to get the win after still turning the ball Over 3 or 4 times big time Character win or else we would have blown out Pittsburgh....gutsy win ...
@@em4160 any win is good, doesn't mean they looked good doing it. Gutsy character win call it what you want but they didn't look good getting there is all Dan was saying and he was right.
Dan is such 🤡 if this was josh allen who had a performance like dak like last night he would have been praising him because he was clutch and he threw the game winning touchdown and wanna talk about dak two turnovers bro such a hater like get him off tv
Dan with the woulda coulda shoulda with Dak especially that last play (One foot away it’s Steelers ball, blah blah blah). Same scenario but with Allen or Mahomes, his narrative would be, “That’s what elite quarterbacks do, find a way to win even when not playing your best.”
UMMMM....THERE WILL ALWAYS BE PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE THAT DONT AGREE WITH YOU ON EVERYTHING, FORREST GUMP. YOU BETTER START GETTING USED TO THE FACT THAT LIFES NOT FAIR LOL!!!

Dan, you being a QB, you should have known that Dak was throwing a back shoulder pass and CeeDee ran the wrong route. If CeeDee stops right, that's a TD
LMAO EVERY TEAM HAS STARTERS INJURED, GUMP.... ENOUGH WITH THE EXCUSES, BURROW WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE SUPERBOWL WITHOUT AN OLINE LMAO!! REMEMBER HE WAS SACKED 9 TIMES IN DIVISIONAL ROUND VS THE TITANS, & STILL WON!! MOST SACKED QB IN THE LEAGUE BY FAR THAT SEASON. SO PLEASE STOP WITH THE INJURY EXCUSE, ALL TEAMS HAVE PLAYERS OUT INJURED....THE GOOD ONES CAN OVERCOME THAT.
Not a fan of either of these teams but Dallas got a good win. Dak was good at times but turned the ball over more than you'd like to see. You can't have 3 turnovers and expect to win very often. That said he did lead them down the field and won the game. The rushing offense was way better and Pitt has a great defense.
Dan Orlovksy was a great QB in the Big East at Connecticut. UConn transitioned from I-AA to I-A under him, and he was probably the best college QB in the Northeast when he played. Nowadays, you have QBs like Jayden Daniels who are given the Heisman Trophy for stat padding blowouts against Georgia State and losing every meaningful game on their schedules, and then they get to the NFL and go 14/25 for 140 yards and the media gives them all the credit when their defense, running game, and weak schedule account for the team's record all because the media is desirous that those types of QBs do well, not pocket passers.
Yall happy with that?😂😂 if it wasn’t for this sorry ahh Steelers offense yall should’ve been blown out. Dak threw some of the worst INTs I’ve seen, I want to hear all the fields praises now
No Micah, no Tank Lawrence, not Carson, no Cooks. Yet we still went into Pittsburgh, a tough place to play, and got the win. But Dan "isn't impressed." 🤡
More than a dozen games from yesterday to talk about, and over the course of a 2 HOUR show you talk about 3 of them.. mostly only about 1. This isn’t 1990 anymore where the only team on national tv is the cowboys. Start covering more of the nfl, or start calling the show “Get Up with the Cowboys”
On those two interceptions…I did not like the play calls honestly. Like why are we running four verticals on the condensed part of the field and Rico was getting at least 5 yards a carry there was no to take a deep shot when the running game was going fine. Outside of those two calls, McCarthy called a good game
i can see how both sides can be true of what ultimately won the game. did the cowboys win or did the steelers lose? both can be true but in the end it was Dallas who should’ve blown out the steelers but it was the turnovers that kept it close
Dan O likes who he likes. Stats doesn't matter after the game is over and you lost. A win is a win is a win. They played against a very good and tough defense and won with all the problems and injuries.
I’m not a cowboys or Dak fan but I gave him a ton of credit for finding a way to win that nasty game. I thought he was going to get injured in this game
So what....Burrow got 5 TD's vs a top 3 defense lol, our last place defense is what sucks. It's funny the Ravens barely scraped out the win last night, when they have top defense, & the Bengals defense is the worst!! They shoulda won by alot more than a tie at end of regulation, they shouldn't have needed ot!! Just sayin.....
some of these guys are just slow or don't pay attention....the long throw INT by Dak....the DB CLEARLY pushed off the WR slowing him down and pushing himself into a better position to even make the INT. The WR didn't have a chance to even knock it away due to the shove...go back and view the play
OMG typical excuse maker. The ball was over thrown! I seen the receiver even jump up to at least tip it away from the defender and couldn't. That's how over thrown the ball was. Dumb throw
Felt like 2 gritty mid teams playing which is honestly exactly what both of these teams are they can beat any team any week except the top of the league but can also lose to anyone besides the very bottom of the league
Did i read that right? Dak had his first go ahead td to win a game ever. He has been in the league 9 years and highest paid qb, im happy for the win but i can believe in Dak, i hope he figures it out
Dan is so Butthurt that the Cowboys won LMAO. On Friday he was saying the Cowboys didn't have a chance and didn't have a advantage at any position. He's a clown 🤡 and is worse as a analyst than he was as a player
@@TheCphsmhwe’re a broken fanbase that always expects the worst. I’ve literally only had hopes the cowboys would win the Super Bowl like one season in the past 16 or so.
Rex was absolutely right on this. Rodgers and Allen did poorly and Dan had a lot less smoke for them than he did for Dak. This was a solid gutsy win by the Cowboys. Dak came through in the clutch.
Hey Woody, remind the Eagles about those ugly games that you win when you shouldn't have.... How did that work out last year for them? 😅 This is hilarious and I love it, this will get all the Cowgirls fans feeling good about themselves again only for them to lay an egg near the end of the season again as per usual
And Giants isnt as bad as it seems they just played dallas tough last week and dallas won same as in Pittsburgh . Dallas is starting to find way to move the ball and it started in the 2nd half of the Racens game when dallas came back didnt win but they came back
Name a white quarterback in the league. If they played the exact game Dak just did, 'Mr. 0-16/Mr. Run out of the end zone' would be saying the opposite
It’s an impressive win because everyone expected them to lose 😂 1 person picked them on the overall panel before the game. No matter how ugly, a win is a win. Both teams are dealing with injuries, but the 4th quarter was impressive by both sides
Dan's an idiot. Dallas' offense was moving the ball on the Steelers defense. Turnovers and penalties were killing them. Take the turnovers away and the score might not have been that close. Rex and Woody are right on this one.
I don’t understand where Dan is coming from. The Cowboys were favored to lose and Dan himself probably thought they were going to lose. Yet after winning its not impressive
Rex I'm a lifelong Cowboys fan and no, I'm not excited about this win. They played like trash and managed a win against an average at best Steelers team. Talking about "mentality" and "guts" is precisely what's wrong with Dallas. What Dallas needs is a mirror not a participation trophy.
"He made quite a few mistakes that led to turnovers that put his team in a tight game, that came down to the wire, and like any great elite QB he made up for those mistakes & got it done" - Dan, if Josh Allen had an exact same game as Dak.
This is NOT a Cowboy normal WIN! They pulled it out because Dak kept his composure. They had another ugly game but Dak is the hero this time. Good much needed WIN!
