Where are we going to find another opener like Chris Gayle? Now we are stuck watching Braithwaite, Tage Chanderpaul and all the other guys we have tried since he retired 😢
I thought Chris Gayle only had one triple century in his Test career against Bangladesh now I'm seeing these comments here saying he has against SA n Sri lanka
@@darkprince3794it had everything to do with the board. Where were you when they suspended him for an indefinite period and CARICOM had to intervene. That’s when he went full force into T20 cricket. And the worse thing is that they did so at the peak of his career. Ernest Hilaire was the architect of this.

The Universe Boss intimidated bowlers. Now our current openers bat like they are scared and just block, block and block. I've watched most of Gayle's and Grenidge games on RU-vid and just dream of living long enough to see a few more batsmen like them.
I hear that but don't think we didn't see Vetorri, Butler and Bond. Bond was as good as any bowler in the world when he was fit, Vetorri's record speaks for itself but more importantly, Astle, Harris and Styris were not bowlers that went around the park. Hinds, Lara, Hooper, Chanderpaul and Ridley were in that line up.
