Magical performance.!!! No one like Queen could be on stage so powerfully... so energetic... so engaged. The crowd was so happy... enjoying every song.. singing and clapping all along the show...!!!! The more I hear the Friday Wembley performance the more I like it but the Saturday version once all the camera's and sound was sorted out was just unbelievable.

bettybaby63 Oh I have know doubt the Friday concert was superb as any Queen performance.I was one very lucky little guy who was taken by my Father to the Saturday concert which was just a month before my 13th Birthday, hence my life long love of Queens music. My point was really just to say from a recording point of view Friday was used to get the right camera angles and sound values to get Saturday right from a film production point of view. All the best xx keep loving Queens music.

Such a great concert one of my favorites, There's no one and never will be any one like Freddie but i do believe Adam is a good fit for Queen and i can see why Queen chose him. Adam like us all is a big fan of Queen and Freddie so he fills in to celebrate Queen and Freddie. I can't get enough of Queen and Freddie, I'm loving your reactions i'm catching up on all your past Queen Reactions

Queen isn't Queen without all four . . . . Freddie's dynamic voice and total body interpretation of THEIR music does garner camera attention away from others. I like finding the 'Deaky Cams', Roger cams....don't think I've seen Brian cams...but Queen became Queen because of the synergy of those four. Nothing will change that for me. Of course I've only known them since Sept. 2019; still in a kind of faithful love for 'those four together'. (BTW Adam Lambert has an outstanding body of his own work which is growing..... a great singer.)

If you like Deacy’s bass, and let’s face it, who doesn’t? Some I would recommend is Dragon Attack live at Montreal and Action This Day live at the Bowl. His bass drives them. Whenever I need a lift these are two I go to, they get my blood pumping. Another favourite, fun one is Crazy Little Thing Called Love live in Japan. Amazing

I didn’t like Adam for a long time but I’ve been converted and feel like if Brian and Roger have chosen him that’s good enough for me. No one can replace Freddie but I give them a lot of credit for carrying on the legacy. Wonder how much longer they can continue, especially with this situation hanging over the world. Great reaction as usual. Try Seaside Rendezvous to experience something totally different. They were chameleons in the studio.

I’ve seen Adam with Queen and he is fantastic, he is not Freddie, but fantastic in his own right. Roger and Brian have so much fun playing on stage with him , it’s wonderful to see. A great song done live and written by Roger.

Great reaction. This song is one of the songs inspired by the movie “Highlander”. Roger wrote a different version, Freddie made it more radio friendly. Some of the movie quotes “A kind of magic”, “There can be only one”, “A dream that lasts a thousand years”. The movie opens with “Princes of the Universe”. It was never performed live, but the music video is on the set of the ending confrontation. It’s a battle between immortal men who can’t die, unless another immortal cuts off his head until only one is left. The video has the star, Christopher Lambert, walk on stage with Freddie and they have a very brief sword vs. mike stand fight. I hated the movie (it’s not a genre that I like), but the Queen soundtrack is fabulous. The protagonist falls in love and has to watch his wife age & die in his arms. This inspired Brian to write “Who wants to live forever”. Live at Wembley or Budapest in 1986 are both great.

The original song, A Kind of Magic, was much heavier than this version. It was thought to be too heavy for the film. Roger, who wrote the song had to fly off LA for some reason and while he was away Freddie and John remixed it, adding that now addictive bass line. When Roger came back he loved it, fortunately and that is how the song went into the film. The original version

Please do this version of Seaside Rendezvous: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZSaMYkjIkf8.html. It’s short but funny. It’s one of the few tracks without Brian May. The others did it goofing around in the studio. The middle portion of the song is Freddie & Roger making all of the instrument sounds with their mouths (like the horns) and a kazoo. They did the tap dance part by using thimbles on their fingers and tapping on the mixing desk. They were quite creative!
