Another Freddie tribute you may like to hear is Roger's solo number 'Old Friends'. Not a sad song, but a beautifully crafted message to a friend who was dearly loved and is greatly missed.
Tears are the expected and correct reaction to this song. It took the band 6 years to bring themselves to the point where they could produce this tribute, and even then you can see how hard it was for John Deacon.
It’s ok...I always cry when I view/listen to this song. Such a beautiful tribute to our dear Freddie. He is so missed. Thank you for your tender, emotional reaction. RIP Freddie💛💛💛💛💛💜💜💜💜💜. I am so sorry about your current situation related to COVID. Wish you the best. Stay safe!
Hey there my friend. So good to see you back. I understand your heart ache with the covid nightmare your country is going through. I lived in Mysore for 3 months in 2003. I can't imagine the horror going on all over your county. I'm in the USA and we ,thankfully, are moving beyond covid now. You are in my thoughts and prayers my friend. you will make it through. Peace and love to u.
Great reaction SHASHANK. I have missed you my friend. Stay away from the sad videos. Here I got a QUEEN song for you. How about MODERN TIMES ROCK N ROLL. It was written by ROGER TAYLOR. I think you will like it. Glad you are back. Hope you stay around for awhile. Take care. Your friend, QUEEN BEE.
I've heard this song many times. However, I just noticed, after the director of the video said "cut," I then heard him say, "Brian, relax." I imagine that he was possibly crying after he finished singing, and understandingly so. Freddie was like a brother to him, to them all.
@@debramoore7513 I shall hear on it again, Im sure you have heare it.......so I must koncentrait and hear it myself, mg poor, poor Brian.....he nearly do suicide when Freddie dieth, he was on a nerv-hospital about a half year, he said in an interview I dont did it beacouse of my children 😢
Welcome back! 😁 Missed your emotional Queen reactions!! OMG!! This is a tough tribute to watch as a viewer let alone how tough it must’ve been for Brian, Roger, & John!! You can see how emotional it was for John … almost pointless. In fact, he retired from Queen right after the making of this video!! I can’t even imagine! 😭😭😭😭😭 The song is an incredible tribute to our Freddie & their Queen brother!! Roger wrote a song called OLD FRIENDS that you should check out! And Brian wrote a song called RESURRECTION about how he rose from the depths of depression after Freddie & his father passed away about the same time!! 💖💖 Thank you for your reaction!! 🌺🌸🌼🌺🌸🌼
@@iREACTDiSSECT your very welcome. I have subscribed to your channel as well and look forward to watching your other Queen reactions. This one was so emotional it made me cry. I’ve been a Queen fan for nearly 5 decades and watching reactions has become a hobby. I appreciate you, stay healthy❤️❤️❤️
It is so good to see you again. This is definitely a tough song to react to. It makes my eyes sweat. But, Freddie would want us to move on and to celebrate our existence. What a legacy he has left and how lucky we are to be able to see all of this historic performance. I just am so thankful for Queen and of course Freddy. Rock on.
Sensational. It's been a while! Queen continues to transcend everything and spread so much love, joy, strength, creativity, confidence, and unity to all who listen! The timing of when they released the song also made it a tribute for Gianni Versace, Princess Diana, and anyone else whose life was cut tragically short. In case your wondering, the illustration is of Icarus from Greek mythology. It was clever of them to make the lyrical reference in "they're only flying too close to the sun." Brian and Roger have such beautiful and criminally underrated singing voices! "No one but you" truly showed that Freddie was like a brother to them, not just their frontman and that their bond was so strong, not even death could break it. Their sorrow is so clear in their faces, voices, and in every note they played/sang and were doing everything they could to not break down crying, not that I would blame them if they did. The close-up of the champagne glass on the piano was in homage to Freddie, who would sometimes toast the audience during special gigs. In 2019, Brian and his wife went to Freddie's birthplace of Zanzibar on pilgrimage to visit Freddie's childhood home, school, retrace some of his childhood steps and even visit the hospital where Freddie and his sister were born. Alongside making this video and recording the song, before he became a recluse, John participated in a Queen collaboration with Bejart+Ballet for life in honor of Freddie who was a ballet and opera enthusiast. Here is the making of video link. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YdKYpoLfCA8.html I totally agree, Freddie has ascended to immortality through his music, kindness, generosity, love and all the lives he touched for being unapologetically true to himself! I also totally agree that John (who prefers to stay out of the spotlight and live in peace and quiet), Brian (whom I can never gush enough about) and Roger are absolutely priceless and truly beautiful gems of humananity inside and out! May they continue to live long and prosper! Bless them all!
I missed your live stream, I hope you are doing well. We missed you! For me the line in the song gets me every time. And now the party must be over I guess we'll never understand The sense of your leavin' Was in the way it was planned Freddie made the decision to stop taking medication. He knew it was futile & accepted what was coming. I think many of us have seen someone close to them make that type of decision and it’s so hard to accept. 💔💔 God bless, praying your country can get through this terrible time.
It's a beautiful and miserable challenge listening, watching this work by John Deacon, Roger Taylor and Brian May. I've watched this several times but for sure not as frequently as their other well loved tracks. Thank you for going on this journey with us. Hope all is well with you Endless Odyssey.
Hey Shashank, great to see you back. I have been looking at the Covid situation in India and my heart goes out to all my friends there. Please stay well and I hope you and those you love will get through it and indeed that the beautiful India will get through it sooner rather than later. This one is a real tear jerker for me too. A wonderful song and great vocals by both guys , especially Brian. And to add to the poignancy, Brian played Freddie's grand piano - the one you usually see on stage at the live shows. And the glass of champagne was there for Freddie. He usually had it when they finished recording a new track. Welcome back again and stay well. Donal :)
I'm glad to see you again. I know there have been very difficult times. I wish you all the best to survive this terrible time. The song is a very beautiful reminder to everyone who left us. Thank you very much for this excellent reaction. Be careful.
Hi Shashank! We miss you! I glad you back. It is really nice song, but I can not listen to it, because it make me sad. I read about this terrible situation in India, I so sorry. I hope is gettin better soon. Take care!
A hand above the water 片手を水面に出して An angel reachin' for the sky 天使が空へ飛んでいく Is it raining in Heaven? 天国では雨が降ってる? Do you want us to cry? 僕たちに泣いてほしい? And everywhere the broken-hearted 孤独な都会の大通りにはどこでも On every lonely avenue 心を打ち砕かれた人達がいる No one could reach them 誰も彼らを救うことは出来ない No one but you 君以外は誰も One by one 一人、また一人と Only the good die young 良い人だけが早く死んでいく They're only flyin' too close to the sun きっと太陽に近すぎて見えていないだけ And life goes on 人生は進んでいく Without you 君なしで Another tricky situation また複雑な状況だ I get to drownin' in the blues 悲しみの海に溺れながら And I find myself thinkin' いつも考えていることに気付く Well, what would you do? お前だったらどうしてる?って Yes, it was such an operation ああ、本当にすごい事だったよ Forever paying every due やるべきことを全て果たすのは Hell, you made a sensation お前は世間を騒がせながら You found a way through 切り抜ける術を身につけてた One by one 一人、また一人と Only the good die young 良い人だけが早く死んでいく They're only flyin' too close to the sun きっと太陽に近すぎて見えていないだけ We'll remember 忘れはしない Forever 永遠に And now the party must be over パーティーはもう終わりだ I guess we'll never understand 僕たちには永遠にわからないと思う The sense of your leaving 君が去っていく事は Was in the way it was planned? 前から決まっていたのかなんて And so we grace another table テーブルを美しく飾って And raise our glasses one more time もう一度グラスを掲げよう There's a face at the window 窓には君の顔が見える気がする And I ain't never, never saying goodbye 決して、決してさよならは言わない One by one 一人、また一人と Only the good die young 良い人だけが早く死んでいく They're only flyin' too close to the sun きっと太陽に近すぎて見えないだけ Cryin' for nothin' 何があっても泣かない Cryin' for no one 誰のためにも泣かない No one but you 君以外の誰のためにも
So good to see you back on screen, reacting to Queen. This song is sad, but a fitting tribute to Freddie from his brothers who have to go on with their lives. I am so sorry the see in the news how India is suffering now with this pandemic, but happy to see you looking well. I think you should react to happy songs and I suggest "Don't Stop Me Now" the official video which has been rated one of the happiest songs in the world! Even if you've already done it! Also, One Vision, live at Wembley 1986, because it's very upbeat and Freddie added a bit of humor at the end. I send good thoughts to you and to the people you care about. Stay safe and stay well.
I would wonder about my mental health, if not getting emotional on this song. Had also a lot of losts in my family in the last 2 years. Skipped me in a slight alcohol abuse. But we have to keep on. But I will miss Queen with Freddie forever. Just Music History!!!
Hi congratulations for the channel and reacts please check the duo euro pop disco's 80 Modern Talking and the greatest song "you're my heart you're my soul" you gonna like this!!!!thank you
First, great to see you back, and your reaction was 💯 appropriate and perfect. Second, I am so sorry for what you are going through. Please know that the eyes of the world are on India, and we are all praying for all of you and for breakthroughs that will stop the severe illnesses and such a high number of deaths. Take care of yourself, do whatever you need to do, we'll still be here for you and, as Freddie would say, "We still love you." You're one of the sweetest & most sensitive reactors, and many songs are only understood fully by people like you.❤️
Beautiful song written by Brian. I always cry on this one. Brian and Roger were in pieces when Freddie died. Welcome back, do you have vaccine? Thanks for the reaction, you did a wonderful job and due justice to this song.
I seen them in concert in 1978 they all were amazing being a life long Queen fan I really miss Freddie's music the songs he could have wrote are lost with him Freddie started life in Zanzibar and educated in India boarding school were he first started a band he really came a long way RIP Freddie love from Canada
Welcome back you beauty man inside/out......Im so sorry for your loss, sicknes and for the hole India this days 🥺😢 poor, poor people 🥺 yeah this is a very hard song to react too, omg the face of Brian, every one of them, its breaking my ♥️ and I cry every time I see this vid. Take the official. You are in my prayers you drink your healthy drink, and stay safe.....luv 🌺🦋🌸
@@iREACTDiSSECT Good!! We’ve missed you, bruh! When you’re all settled in and back in the groove, I have a suggestion for you for a reaction. I don’t think you’ve done it yet, but not sure. The band is called, Dire Straits and their song you should react to is called, Sultans of Swing. But you HAVE to react to the Alchemy Live version. It’s their live performance of the song, not just the audio. I’m telling you, bruh, this is one of the best live performances you will EVER see. No joke. I hope you can do it. Thanks, bruh. Good to finally have you back! Edit: I see you did react to the studio version of this song, but you GOTTA do the Alchemy Live version. There’s no comparison . The Alchemy Live version blows the studio version out of the water. There’s a 4 minute guitar solo, dude! It’s awesome. You’ll be so glad you did. Guarantee it. I can add the link for the performance if you want.
I’m so sorry for not having discovered you until now. You made me curious about your traditions because of the way you dismissed the idea of anyone being interested. Your careful listening to every word of each lyric showed how your mind works to make your heart speak. You are a wonderful, loving, beautiful soul. I’m old enough to have seen Queen, live in concert, for the first time, in 1976, as a teenager.
I cry every time I watch this video just knowing Freddie has really gone! It’s also sad this is the very last video John Deacon would ever play with the band he left the band after this video was made and he is sorely missed as well!! John Deacon took Freddie s death the hardest and just couldn’t continue without Freddie! 💔 RIP Freddie
I see you've listened to a lot of Led Zeppelin, and quite right, too, they're amazing, but you've not heard 'Stairway To Heaven' yet ? How can that be ? It's their signature song and many consider it their greatest. You've really got to rectify that now, or you'll never forgive yourself. And I mean the studio version, not a live one......
@@iREACTDiSSECT What I meant was there's no reaction video to the studio version. I guess what you mean is you've already heard it and that's why there's no first time reaction video. By the way, I was born in England in 1963 and grew up listening to all the rock music of the sixties and seventies. My favourite band then (and still is) was Pink Floyd, and I was fortunate to get to see them perform The Wall live at Earl's Court in 1981. Great to see you've become a big fan of them yourself at this late date. Keep up the great work, man..... you're a fabulous reviewer.
