If Fury decides he must box at range then grab Usyk for dear life every time he comes near, Fury will absolutely RUIN this as a boxing match. And as usual the ref will say nothing to the protected big bum.
Hey man, I really appreciate the biomechanics of punching videos you’ve done, would you wanna do one of Ryan Garcia’s left hook? or maybe for the late Edwin Valero
Yes, I think that’s exactly why he’s ducked Usyk for so long. I don’t think he’s scared of fighting anyone but definitely scared of losing and looking clumsy in the process. If TF loses he’s going to have to eat his words and that’s a LOT of words to eat!
As someone who had gritted their teeth every time someone called Tyson Fury the greatest heavyweight of all time before this fight, i'm happy to hear a substantiated take from someone that had..probably.. done the same. I'm not going crazy yet after all. Aside from that, I only discovered the channel after the fight and you've hit the nail on the head on many points! Down to his cut opening up. Incredible take!
Completely agree mate, Fury will suffer "death by a thousand cuts" Usyk will eventually take this man's heart and soul, I think we are looking at a 11 or 12th round TKO.
Honestly think Fury may get dropped in this fight, not heavily, but with unexpected shots that catch him off balance. Also think Fury may look clumsy compared to Usyk, and the disparity in speed to look very pronounced. If Fury lunges in to try and clinch, can see him getting clipped and then reverting to fighting from distance. His so called Kronk style worked against chinny flat footed fighters. Usyk is neither chinny or flat footed.
Very good point. Fury touching down wouldn't surprise me but I think Usyk will have to string together several clean shots to do it. So many say "Usyk has never faced a style like Fury's" but the exact same could be said about Fury and Usyk's style - which is arguably more unique!
At some point (that 6ft 9 definitely surpasses) height becomes a disadvantage as it makes you less mobile and more prone to knockdowns due to lack of balance (Furys been dropped 7 times in his career). This good big 'un beats a good little'un is BS in this case because Furys not big he's awkwardly big
both my 2 favorite heavyweights. don't care who wins. i do hope it's close either way. but my gut says Usyk is gonna win. he's just crazy skilled and always in perfect shape
The one thing you are missing about th aj usyk match is that AJ's limiting factor was his engine Fury has a better engine and work rate so I can see him fighting dirty and breaking usyk down. If AJ had fury engine he would of won because he wouldn't rest to allow usyk to recuperate
@@danielcolehernandez1852 it's very simple AJ has fast twitch muscles which make him explosive but the price to pay is stamina that's why he was so happy to make it to round 12 in his first fight with usyk and he was so gassed. fights at a slow pace favours AJ Fury cannot hit as hard but has better endurance muscles
I think if fury tries to bully usyk to much usyk will time him and put him down, People say usyk Can't ko fury that's bs look at the first anothony Joshua usyk fight he catches him in the first round anothony Joshua then went into his shell. Tyson fury is also a great fighter he knows usyk can punch. Anthony Joshua is a more sharper puncher than fury but he is a lot easier to work out that's why usyk had anothony Joshua number. Fury can fight many different ways he can also move good for a man his size i think it's a 50 50 fight.
Roughly 30 seconds into rd12 of the Wallin fight Wallin hit Fury with a peach of a straight left that shook him down to his boots & left him clinging on for dear life. Usyk is a MUCH better southpaw than Wallin. Usyk is going to target that right eye, open up those cuts again & give Fury the beating of his life. Usyk wins by stoppage in the last quarter of the fight.
Indeed, Wallin hit Fury with numerous power punches and buzzed him on occasions. Hardly the heavyweight Mayweather that his demented fanboys claim he is.
Fury ko before 10 usyks footwork at hw ain't quick enough to choose the gap and exit, he will go on the back foot, where he isn't half as effective, fury will take the mid range away, use his reach and size to keep it long and drain him up close Usyk needs you in the middle of the ring and for him to be on the front foot, he's a come forward fighter
Did Breidis or Bellew outbox Usyk? Without knocking down or hurting . he ever comprehensively lost a round? Did Usyk land on the far end if his reach vs the taller fighters he has faced. Also yes Fury defence is statsically great, whether you like it or not the numbers show he makes opponents miss.btw for idiots that didn't know defence is scoreable. it's part of the 4 criteria. "Very rarely will you see Fury throw a lead right" 😂😂😂 what a mong
If Fury gets back to old Fury and he prepars for the amount of shots and movement, then Fury can outbox him with his reach and more power, but it's gonna take him to be in the best shape and trow much mor and He looks it, If so Fury wins, If not usyk dow IMO
I’m picking Uysk in this one but Fury has proved me wrong on a couple occasions so I’m definitely not writing him off. I believe we’ll see a good Fury but I don’t think it will be enough. I also agree that Usyk can hurt Fury, I wouldn’t be shocked if fury gets dropped
Good overall video, and I agree with most points - But one I simply cannot see happening. You mentioned Fury might just throw in the towel. Look, I don't like Fury at all. So much to dislike about him, and no denying he's a cherry picking ducker. But one thing you cannot accuse Fury of being is a quitter when in the ring. Yes, he can be difficult to get into the ring to begin with, but once he's there, he's there till the final bell rings. I don't like Fury as a person, or even as a boxer, but one thing I do respect is that he get's back up when knocked down, and he'll give it 100%. I just cannot imagine any scenario where he simply "gives up" and just throws in the towel. That's not Fury's style.
I didn't suggest Fury would quit. I actually find that quite unlikely. Although, I entertain the prospect of the corner or doctor stopping the fight if Fury begins to take too much damage without having success of his own.
@@outmatchboxing6587 - Yes, I can see a doc shutting it down due to the cut reopening. But then again, Fury was allowed to finish the Wallin fight despite bleeding like a stuck pig and an enormous gash that was grounds for immediate stoppage. So I'm guessing due to the stakes of this fight, they'd allow him to continue instead of risking angering fans. But I suppose we'll find out.
@@outmatchboxing6587 and everyone seems to be assuming usyk can just hit fury at will. It’s madness. Both guys will have periods of success that’s pretty much for sure.
As I have posted on another video about this fight - Fury's weight loss could be a factor but in a negative sense. As he has lost a lot of weight for this fight, I just wonder whether that will affect his energy levels. In other words, will he have enough energy in the final third of the fight to stop Usyk from winning rounds? Bear in mind that Usyk's movement can drain his opponents physically and mentally. On the other hand, the delay in this fight due to Fury's injury may have helped Fury with the weight loss, as he would mean he would have taken a longer time to reach the weight he wants to achieve. Yes Fury is slick, but he still gets hit a lot.
Very good point. I think many people picking Fury fail to consider just how much trauma his body has been through. It could have a massive effect on his performance in a fight like this, which could go down to the wire.
Uysk’s skills are technically sound. On paper he’s fury’s ideal match, speed, precision, solid footwork, stamina, but Fury has distinct advantages in his favour such as reach, weight, great at parrying, it really is a battle of wits. Fury wins this one because he’s smart enough to switch tactics, maintain pressure or counterpunch effectively. The odds are in his favour. You could also say that if it’s rigged then Fury definitely wins most likely on points and goes on to fight Joshua because that’s the “money” fight. We are this close to it now, considering the upset Joshua caused against Ngannou, there’s no way they pull the plug on Fury/Joshua now. A marquee fight like this has the potential to shatter box office records. Conveniently, Joshua’s stock has increased since Ngannou fight, making him more lucrative in terms of drawing power.
@TeachingMatthewSaurusRex2 Not only shock, but surprise, bro...Many of you take sports too serious and fail to understand that anything can happen, especially in boxing and football. Anybody can be beaten, so I don't understand where your shock is coming from 😂🤣
Fury beat an old man vlad who joshua knocked out and a flat footed wilder who couldnt box eggs. Usyks 2 wins over Joshua alone beats furys entire resume. Size has played a massive factor in furys success along with his cherry picked opponents
Who’s the better fighter it’s fury all day long, usyk is the better boxer but fury is the better fighter and he will show that at weekend. Fury is a dog usyk is not he cries every chance he gets
