Absolutely love this video! The start was so hilarious, "Ahhh my opponent just said hello and i have to play a kumano, i feel horrrible" the end of the fiirst match very fun too, "ahhhh he thinks he wins" * lighting bolt to the face for death *. Also i loved watching you play aggro, this is a new build and i i've seen a lot of other creators just recycle the same old builds making the exact same videos as each other. You are always breathe of fresh air!
Sloth, our friend, you cannot hide your heart from us. You are having fun with this deck! We all love control archetypes because it can be so rich in skill expression, but the sacrifice archetype and these decks with lots of synergies do the same thing. We want to see more decisions across the game because more decisions allow more skill expression. Please put together more dense play like this; there is so much room for intelligent gameplay in sacrifice.
Nah we are control players, but I guess u gotta make an aggro deck once in a while bc those are the only playable cards that wizards is printing these days
Really cool deck. Haven't played in a while, just crafted this (with a few tiny changes) and from just one session I can tell there's a ton of decisions you can make that matter a lot. This is truly an aggro deck for control players.
Keep up the hard work. I felt your hello -> kumano pain my friend. Its as if you almost want to message your opponent and say, "I promise I'm a control player, please don't judge me" haha
Yeah, it meant exactly this pretty much :D Especially as I know the pain of being nice with hello, then opp opens with the best, dirty, aggro curve possible and your face is like -____- 🤷♂️🦥
Reminds me of when I tried to create "aggro but with a twist" with the boros burn shell of last rotation. I felt so dirty at how pathetically easy it was to win compared to playing control that I deleted the deck and went to take a bath.
I think I also made similar deck few months ago - but I think I didn't showcase it in the end, mono red shell is pretty insane. And rakdos twist truly makes deck more fun and interesting (for an aggro🤷♂️🦥)
Very nice one! The deck seems surprisingly difficult to pilot well, so many moving parts, and so many small decisions to be made... and of course, so many sources of reach burn damage. I love it!
Indeed, probably one of the better aggro decks to master (contrary to mono red 🤷♂️) - definitely many games can be won with those sneaky burn lethals (considered Bloodletter too, might be cool twist)
as a simic enjoyer, Sheoldred decks are my personal bane. Truely an amazing card, especially that deathtouch so that not even a Titan makes you win the board
Sheoldred single-handedly removed green from rotation. You can see wotc printing stronger and stronger green cards, and nothing they do matters because green literally can't beat Sheoldred.
@@metalhev3989 I think it's more that green needs too long to set up in a meta this dominated by supremely fast aggro. Also, green is currently rather helpless against the sweeper-heavy control that developed on the other end of the spectrum in response. But I am running into more Gruul (and some Bant) lately, so there's at least that.
@@empirate100 green is pretty good against monored because their creatures can't get bolted/swiftspeared. But wtf is green gonna do when they drop sheoldred or, god forbid, obliterator? Not even the stupid-ass 3 mana 6/6 dino can race Sheoldred. You gotta pray to the old gods that the monoblack player is stupid enough to tap out and graciously let you use a bite spell without getting blown up. Like, legit, I brewed tons of creature decks and, unless I could go wide enough, kill faster than t4 or remove sheoldred, I could do literally nothing but watch her dismantle the entire game. We have The One Ring in alchemy and the entire reason its busted to shit there is because of Sheoldred.
