I think that, in this deck, Mazemind Tome might be better than Bankbuster. It can scry for free when you need lands (sometimes twice, in the opponent's end step and in your upkeep) and sometimes gaining 4 life is relevant
Thought of these games on my 15. Bring us the rack!! Davriel and rankle, corrupt fun cards to finish sets with too so far. Your list as tight as we expect also. Great episode!
@@JesseThomas-zi1jv krevaek is the card he is missing the card is a powerhouse. Grinded a few trophies and top 100 with kravaek as a 2 of main board. Some turns you can just rip the game away.
Mazemind is better then reckoner for a lot of reasons but the biggest I would say is the mana base being so colorless heavy without urborg on MTGA. There is also a lot of clunky scenarios that can happen with our lands. Few examples Lochthwain no swamp, hive on turn 3-4. Kravek is the good in main 1 Tinybones in side for the mirror and aggro decks just to gunk them up. Aggro Matchups take out the whole waste not package come in with a more tempo deck.
Match one could have gone so differently if you simply used all your extra mana to activate geier reach sanitarium. I know for this deck it lets you force opponent to discard, but it does also just let you loot.
I think this deck is a shade below what I’d be interested bringing to a major event, but a fantastic FNM/RCQ deck. There are some new cards that could give it a little more juice too.
Is Painful Quandary a good answer to the hellbent "play what you draw" problem, or is 5 mana too much? From then on, they lose 25% of their starting life total each turn/they play only one spell each other turn and trigger your Waste Not.
I ran it as a placeholder for the Bat God to some success a while back, but if you don't have ways to keep their hand empty then they will just hold a card if they take time to read the enchantment. If I had to pick only one card for the 5 slot it would be Aclazotz. I've also tried Tergrid, and she's ok, too. I've seen some decks that run 3 cards in the 5 slot, Bat God, Tergrid, and Cover-Up. But lately I've tried to keep the deck slim with only 1 card there.
