Frizebad Barbershop is situated just around the corner from Pasajul Victoria and the Old Town of Bucharest. The barbershop relocated to this current address after the Bucharest earthquake of 1977.
The interior is a perfect time warp reflecting the Romanian tastes from when it was last renovated in 1981. Surprisingly, original 1930’s barber chairs from Chicago remain. I guess even the might of communist dictators stop when it comes to barber chairs!

Different styles, the variety makes it’s great, I like the feeling of this shop, like an early 1960’s in the United States. My favorite is Harry with Baba Sen👍

I was born in Bosnia and raised in Serbia. Started with hairdressing when i was 16. I’ve been working in Sweden for more than 4 years and have the best working conditions ever but more i live here i appreciate more and more these old school real barbers and their struggle to survive. No fancy shit just hard work and love for the profession. ✌🏼

I loved the gent coming in and getting coffee, actually. He made it more authentic. My cousin is a barber and I've sat at the shop with him several times and there is always someone in and out, selling wares, just stopping in to speak or hang or even getting directions. He kept it fairly to the point, got his coffee and left😁...as usual another great video Harry!!

I think many time ago I commented this video, and, sincerely, it's one of my favorites. It's really relaxing and is an authentic ASMR. This video put me to sleep. Beside, this barber is a master in his job. He knows how to cut your hair when it was medium long. Unfortunately not to many barbers know how to thread longer hair. I won't die in peace when I go to this barber shop and order an haircut. Gratings from Mexico. I hope you could come to Mexico and make videos about the Mexican Barber shops and their barbers.

You should’ve done a fan meeting in Romania. Would’ve been marvelous. If you are still in Romania, i recommend the city Constanta, near the black sea and there is a barbershop called “downtown barbershop”. Guys there are great as barbers and as person. @David Mays yes excellent work.. it does appear to uncomfortable getting hair washed this way.. my grandmother shampooed my hair when I was a young boy and I had to stand up , head down in sink and yes sometimes soap in the eye. I prefer sitting , reclined backwards when I get my hair washed..everyplace I went to for haircuts washed hair that way ..

I love 2 hours drive right from Bucharest, once came close to the border to feel the 250 tons of gold and let me tell, BG and RO and very close but totally different, there it's high, big, magical, mistical, romantic, A real change from the ordinary, traveling to Romania is an experience like no other.

i love traditional old school haircuts. ive been a hairdresser for 30 years this is so good to see, a blunt symmetrical cut. today with all the texture and point cutting a straight line is getting harder to find.this guy is good very good.

It’s funny to read the comments on these videos because the ASMR people hate anything that isn’t unmolested audio.... To me the horns honking in India or the crowds outside the door in turkey or the random customer who walks in and yells across the barber shop in Oakland are the ones that keep me grounded in reality that this is just a snapshot of a moment in time of one of the most mundane things modernity requires. We have to groom ourselves to maintain our aesthetic, and it’s a universal thing, like honking cars, and coffee.... What ruins a video for one is what makes it authentic to another.... Love these videos, they remind me that we have more in common with the rest of the world than we think we do.
