Growing this lockdown beard for about 5 months,...My DREAM CAME TRUE! I finally got the authentic Indian beard, complete with a henna beard coloring.
My barber, Mani, a Punjabi Indian-American, runs the Punjabi Barbershop in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY. I came in and asked him for the original Indian beard style. He was fine to do that, but when I asked for a henna beard coloring, he advised against it. Still, he did it for me, since this is what the customer asked for.
I proclaimed, "Just make me into a handsome Indian man." In the end, Mani said he made me from "homeless man to handsome Indian man." Love it!
I enjoy exploring as many cultures, unique situations, personalities -- and bring then to you.

Finally got to the end of the video. Jason you look great, you remind me of our London hipsters, these are very trendy young men, who sport a well groomed beard(some have wings too 😊) and a slick hair cut. On another note didn't you find it uncomfortable when the Barber was washing your beard, learning forward on a chair would of been nicer 😊
