The Shadow is being released as “Snowfall”. Apparently the censors weren’t happy with the original release version and had to take their machetes to it. Gao Wei Guang is quite possibly the most handsome man in film, East or West. His talent and artistry have grown as he’s matured and I look forward to seeing the releases in 2024. Oh, to be in my 20’s again, I’d learn Mandarin in a heartbeat.
Wow… so I had seen that poster a year ago with the title 冰雪谣 (snowfall) and I know it’s alternate titles adapted from the novel Ru Yue, Bing Xue Yao, 如月，and of course The Shadow. You know Chinese producers always have to do and redo because of that STRICT censorship. *sighs* I’m just happy it’s coming out. When my 奶奶 (grandma) was alive I always called her when moving back to states and we would talk in mandarin. Now I sound like a chicken trying to speak English 🤣 Right about GWG he’s like the finest wine and showing that there is no expiration date for leading romantic men in China! What a man Vengo Gao is! Before I got sick I had planned to go from Korea to China, but hopefully things will work out and I’ll be able to do it next year. ❤️
So, I am still praying for you. I just got over some kind of flu. It was not Covid possibly ascension flu and I have had to change my diet to more vegetarian. I feel stronger after it. Wierd. I am watching Legend of Heroes, just finished episode 21. I will be happy to see GWG’s other dramas.Stay happy and healthy, Snowfu!
Thank you for your prayers Marsha. I am trying my best (and will continue) to hang in there until I’m better. I’m sorry you were ill with some type of flu, but relieved to hear you are better and stronger. I have also gone more vegetarian for my kidneys, I will have to see if it helps!
