Hello everyone and welcome back to my channel! I'm so happy you decided to stop by. Today I am showing you what I packed in my hospital bag for baby #2 . The first time around I completely over-packed so this time I knew exactly what I was going to use and what I wasn't. I really hope you enjoy this and I hope it helps you if you are preparing to pack your own hospital bag!

If you are new here, my name is Denise and I am a mother of a 2 year old little girl named Lenora AND I am currently pregnant with our second baby girl. My husband's name is John and we have 2 dogs named Ox and Bella. We recently moved to Denver, Colorado and plan to vlog all of our family adventures! Good luck to all mothers to and have a safe delivery when the time comes. I'm really excited cause I'm giving birth this month. I'm 37 weeks 5 days soon to be 38 weeks. Time has flown so fast.

Makeup is my number one priority for my bag this time around. No shame in my game lol. I got unexpectedly induced at 36 weeks with my first and I had NOTHING!! I wanted my makeup so bad to feel like a human again. And that’s my personal preference for how I feel my best. I never even posted pictures of my holding my son when he was born because I just hated how I looked. I’m buying a few extra of my makeup essentials and I’m starting early this time. Probably next week when I’m 25 weeks! Great video.

That green headband is seriously the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! They did NOT have that cute of stuff when my girls were little and now I want them to be babies again. 😭 I don’t care WHAT you say, you are SO on top of things. Like seriously. You’re my hero. Super helpful video for first timers! Did you bring mittens for baby’s hands or have the outfits that have the mittens? I know we only brought one pair and she got sick on them so she ended up scratching her poor face up. 😢 we ended up using socks for her hands but our hospital doesn’t cut nails or supply files.

I had 3 c sections and my last one I didn’t have a bag packed since he came 3 weeks early (I went in labor at work lol) first one I overpacked sooo much 2nd time around I kept it minimal! Those mesh undies are life esp after having a csection I always asked for a bunch to take home for the first week lol! Funny thing none of my kids liked being swaddled! My hospital provided those halo swaddlers and they’d pop their arms out every time lol! Almost baby time!!!

Oh man Amber, it is impossible to prepare for the early babes. I'm sure if I ever had a third I would just walk into the hospital empty handed lol! Yes, I asked for a bunch to take home too! Love them! You have little escape artists on your hands! Can't hold them down! Can't wait!!

Yep. I packed a roller bag too. So much easier! I wore makeup when I had Cody because people take pictures 😂😂😂 o also bought cute jammies for Cody and for this little man for the same reason...pictures. I was told to not use nipple cream when o had Cody because it would prolong the pain by keeping my nipples soft. I wonder if that’s changed now. Sooooo much has changed since I had him 😂😂😂 this is like a first pregnancy all over again. I just got some of those swaddles. I was so confused by what it was until my sister told me. That paper crane outfit is so cute! I’m loving the H&M baby clothes.

why women bring so much make up is BEYOND me I felt disgusting after giving birth and ALL I wanted to do the entire time was SHOWER and get comfortable and wearing make up whenever I do need to makes my face feel so heavy and gross I just wanted to soak up all the baby love I could and make up is NEVER going to be packed in my bag I dont care what people think when they come and visit that is not important to me period if they dont like it you dont need to look at me you came to see the baby not me hahaha

Started on my laptop, finishing on my phone!!! Love the swaddle and headband options! She is going to be gorgeous!!!! I love those swaddle me swaddles! I have never heard of kicky pants!! Sounds amazing. These tiny baby clothes are killing me!!! So cute!!!! Piper is already out of newborn. 😢 I hope this c-section goes as smoothly as it did with Lenni. 🙏🏻 loved this!!!! TheBrooks Family I took pretty much the same. I also took slippers, and extremely basic shower items. I am not normally a light packer but I am on baby number 4 and we are very close to the hospital so my Husband can bring me anything I decide i need.

Hey girl! I got the travel bag from Target. It was by Sonia Kashuk but I don't think they carry it anymore. I'm sure they have something similar...just not that pattern. My belly bands are actually linked in my Amazon store in my description box. Omg the gas the second time around was excruciating!! Good luck, mama!

When we went on the tour for our hospital they told us what they would provide. I’m sure yours has a list too! For example mine requires two changes per day for baby. And they only provide a few mesh undies for mom so I have to bring more underwear :/

That's so many things 😂 I don't think I ever used hair serum in my life! as for the makeup bag I took to the hospital, it had 1 concealer, BB cream, mascara and lip gloss. I took face and body cream. 2 PJ's and a going away outfit for me and 3 outfits for the baby. The end.

I feel like this was still excessive 😭 like your girls clothes and the extra pajamas and beauty products! Lol no shade though I feel like you tubers and those who want to document it all have to look good with their hair and makeup for pictures and all so I would get it. To be fair, I did use all of it. It would have been nice to pack less but I knew I'd be there for 4 days and I wanted to have a sense or normalcy. Do my makeup and hair a couple of times, etc. But like I said, to each their own. This may be too much for some and may be too little for others. Thanks so much for watching though! Xoxo

They can put the placenta in a bag and just carry it out in the cooler - it will be OK (bring packing tape if you really want to) - I'm happy to hear that you are doing this! It's rare. 😀

Thanks so much, Kay!! Great advice and I'm happy to hear you support this. I was so bummed I didn't get to do it with my first. They had to test my placenta to see what made me so sick but it came back normal. Unfortunately it was contaminated after that. Fingers crossed all goes smoothly this time around. I'm all for it! Hi! My favorite baby wrap is the Solly Baby Wrap. You can google it to find the website ❤️ It’s super light weight and comfortable. The Moby is great too but a little thicker so it’s warmer, which isn’t my favorite in the warmer months. Congratulations!

Have you used or thought about using a yoga ball for preparing for birth I guess?🤷😄 I'm a first time mom and I watched alot of videos where they bounce and do pelvic excersizes and I'm curious if it's really necessary I get one and try that method like does it even help or what else is good to prepare for birth, I'm do in Sept.2020♥️

Hey girl, I would have as I'm sure its helpful but I had 2 c sections. The first was emergent and the second one was elective so I didn't have to prepare my body for that. I have heard great things though!

Belly belts are only advised is you have csection. Otherwise you’re not using your abdominals so they are getting super weak...

I am currently 35 weeks with my first and this video helped me so much. Just seeing how organized you are and knowing other women are bringing things I want to bring but keep being told they're "unnecessary". I am repacking my bag today with my toiletries that make me feel good and now I'm shopping for those bamboo onesies and some pajamas for myself! Thanks! :)

It's just so exciting to prepare for a birth! Having the things thst matter to you all ready to go is very reassuring. I thought this was more on my level than some I have seen! But I am a lighter packer also. We had a son almost 11 years ago when I was in my 20s and we hope to have another baby in 2020 . So much has changed! Thanks for the video!

I'm sorry. Did you feel you needed one? They helped keep me stable and aware of my incision so I took it easy, even when I felt like I could do so much more. They also helped my uterus shrink a lot faster.

First, CONGRATS!! I just got mine ready and I just turned 38 weeks. I had mine packed for my first at 35 weeks. I'd say 35-37 is safe. Just keep it aside and ready to go for peace of mind. I ended up having an emergency c-section with my first at 35.5 so I was SO glad I had it packed early. 💕💕

With my first I packed at 35 weeks. On pregnancy number 4 and I honestly take so little to the hospital that I don’t pack until I think it’s go time. 😆 But if your excited or stressed about it go ahead and pack one. It’s so fun prepping for baby.

@@DeniseBangiyev with my son I got out early because my surgery went great and there was a lot of sick people there. With my daughter I think it was because I was up and walking within 4 hours after even 2 surgeries in 1.

@@susanmcdermott2763 I was up walking around that early as well, they just said it's standard for recovery. I wasn't fighting being taken care of 😍 There are still days I think about those days after surgery. The nurses were amazing and I felt like I was on vacation hahahhaha! !

Good morning Denise my sweet friend. Give Jon a happy father's day from me!! Thanks for sharing this with us. Some ladies are so extra when it comes to their hospital bags!! You kept it simple and too the point. Let's face it, most of us are not worried about looking like beauty queens after giving birth. Sure, we wanna feel me look half way decent, but full faces of makeup and a fancy clothing are not in our minds!! I remember living the mesh underwear and I bought me some granny panties because they were so comfy. Sweat pants and a loose fitting t-shirt and some slides was my go to. I can't wait for baby girl to come, and I'm excited to see Lenny being a big sister!! I love y'all to pieces and have a great day!!
