Omg!!! What a coincidence our horses match lol you’re hobby horse had the exact same stuff as my real horse chillidog! Hobby horsing is so fun! If I didn’t own I horse I would probably do this ❤
@@Elixirs_Sketchyy What I mean is, everything on this planet and everything else that we claim to "own", we don't. God owns it, He lets us use it. He Blesses us with it.🩷☺️
I’m going to my first hobby horsing event soon! I have a few questions since your a pro lol! Show jumping questions: What’s the recommended height for a beginner ish? (I can jump 2ft in certain instances) Should I practice trot and canter or focus on canter? Is there a specific type of canter I need or just an extended, fast run? Any tips on getting a clear round? ------------------------- For chase me Charlie: Any specific requirements for this? Do I need to have a specific jump form for the higher or smaller jumps? EXTRA QUESTIONS: Should I buy a hobby horse there if I like one? Should I buy some jumps not only for me but for dog training? Should I get some more tack for my og hobby horse? THATS ALL TY IF YOU REPLY
@CowzaEquestrian 1. I would recommend jumping a height you feel comfortable doing. Maybe a height you could jump 10 jumps in a row of!! 2. I always use canter for jumping unless they are miniature jumps. Personally, I would just work on the canter 3. I don't do extended canter for showjumping because it is more difficult and unnecessary. I would just stick to the normal canter but as fast as you can. It also depends what level competition you are in. If they let you do normal running instead of canter then you could run....up to you 4. Tips for clear run...probably just remember to put full effort into each jump. Make sure you are in the right stride. I like to also enter the jump in a straight line (make sure to turn well before the jump)
@CowzaEquestrian Chase me Charlie: I don't really know what competition you are joining so I wouldn't know your requirements....you'll have to look them up. Personally I don't think most competitions mind your style of jumping. Do what way feels best. For higher level competitions they may insist a certain style of jumping.
@CowzaEquestrian EXTRA QUESTIONS Yes because you don't have to pay shipping and you can see the quality irl...100% recommend Personally I would buy jumps because they are so fun and useful to practice on, especially if you are planning for hobbyhorsing to be a big hobby or sport for yoy I only have 1 set of tack for each of my hobbyhorses, it's up to you and if you can afford more. If you can they it's fun to have different options but that is entirely up to you💝 Ty for the questions
@@Tabby_HH tysm for answering! I don’t think there’s any requirements for the jumps itself in my chase me Charlie, just a regular one I’ll keep these in mind ✨
