NEW VIDEO WOOHOO!! 🥳 Haha so as much as I hype this book up, I want to make it clear that I don't look up to Kiyosaki as a person. He's pretty problematic 👎 I filmed some clips where I talked about how I dislike how he views some things, but it was too long so I didn't include it in this video. The main thing about him is that he likes to target and degrade people for being poor (or staying poor). This is very insensitive, so I might talk about these things in a separate video. I guess my point is that you need to be critical of the lessons you read from this book. Putting those things aside though, this still my financial wokening book and I wanted to share with you guys the lessons that really impacted me! 😄❤️🍞
Motherbread can you make a video about the advantages of having a credit card? I was just wondering how a credit card can possibly help us as consumers? Thank you motherbread! 🍞 🍞 🍞
@@jamessacramento I found it on the website PDF Drive when I searched for a copy online. It's not something I bought, so I'm wondering if I'd still be liable for doing this? Edit: Decided to remove it. Thanks for the reminder!
Wow I' m just shock someone mentioned expert Mrs Tessy I thought I' m the only one trading with her, She helped me recover what I lost trying to trade my self
Yes I' m also a living testimony of expert Mrs Tessy, My first investment with Mrs Tessy gave me profit of over $24,000 us dollars and ever since then she has never failed to deliver and I can even say she's the most sincere broker I have known
I'm glad many teens follow this kind of youtuber. This is what a role model looks like. Not those non educational ones na halos nag huhubad nlng for views, wlang self respect sa sarili. Puro mga katangahan pinopost.
I have heard about "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" even before, but it was only earlier this year when I finally managed to read it (well, listen.. kasi it was an audiobook). It serves a lot of inspiration! Especially for me who decided to ditch the corporate world and start from scratch (literally scratch) to seek financial freedom. More power to you, Nicoleee!!! ❤
Saaame! This was my financial wokening book, too! I remember na pinarequire 'to ng prof namin for Economics class nung first day of classes. Tapos never na syang umattend ng class after nun 😂, so it ended up na ito lang yung naituro nya sa'min for the whole sem. Can't complain na lang din 😏 because this was really a gold nugget for me. Sa sobrang amazed ko sa book na 'to, I bought Kiyosaki's Cashflow 101 Board Game as a Christmas gift to the family para mamotivate din sila to get out of the rat race. Pero magpapasko na ulit, hindi pa rin nila nalalaro hahahahahaha 😭
I was planning on buying the book talaga but I was grateful that you shared your gift ☺️ I like watching your videos talaga. Godbless and hope you'll share us more financial tips. ♥️♥️♥️
Just came across your vlog one day and here I am, subscribed and binge watching. I remember we were asked to read that book in college and make a review. Haven't finished the book, though but it is indeed a financial wokening book per what I read (I think I was able to read half of the book). Keep it up, Nicole! We're learning a lot! Thank youuu!
This is an eye-opener kahit 6 yrs nako nagwowork sa accounting firm haha. Very relevant ng vids mo especially na kakatanggap palng ng 13th month pay 🤣🤣. More power! 😁
I was 23 when I read the rich dad poor dad book. The one thing I was able to apply is buy income generating assets. Nakabili ako ng lupa, condo and stocks because of that book. Hahaha He also discussed the differences between assets and liabilities. Very practical lessons....
what i love about you videos is that wala kang sinusuggest na gawin :) that is the most legit advice talaga! people want answers lagi. seems like they think there is a definite answer on how to be financially depended but the real answer is yourself. know you, know your money, know how you money works. your videos are just wake up calls hahahha alarm clock ka lang pero kami padin ang may choice kung babangon kami sa kama or isosnooze ka! thanks a lot!
If hindi mo pa naman nababasa itong libro ever, you’re missing on a lot of things! For me the most important lesson I got was learning all about assets and liabilities. We often think that owning a house is an asset and that’s why it’s like the norm. Pero deep down, owning a house requires expenses, insurance, and a lot more! Why not rent? That’s just one of the more important discussions.
The rent or not to rent will definitely depend on a person's situation. May pros and cons to each side, so kailangan talagang pagisipan ng mabuti. Thanks for sharing! 😄❤🍞
@@NicoleAlbaYT Yep yep! I just didn't add it there because I didn't want the comment to be too long. Like one of the factors would be your workplace and work type. If your work requires you to move places a lot, being stuck with a mortgage in a single house can be a problem. Anyway, someday maybe you could make a video about that!
Can you make a video about how to grow your P1,000.00 as a student or something like that. I currently have that money and I'm afraid of losing it lmao
@@rafaelregayas1940 any suggestions on what I can make or do to grow my money? I'm afraid to lose it because it is hard for me to ear money :( I only earn money when my tita gives us and I'm planning to buy a laptop that could be of use for me this coming 3rd year college. Sorry for my bad English 😅 but I hope you can share me some ideas 🥺
Look there's no easy way to make money or grow money, you have to do your own research, with that said if you are good in numbers and analysis, Day Trading in Stock Market is one way to go however the assurance of growing your money isn't guaranteed but 1k isn't sufficient to see real change. You can use whatever skill you have like, drawing skills for classmates projects or sell the drawings, programming to develop computer programs or school computer projects, website or web app development for your classmates school projects or develop something as a platform for subscription, Proficiency of English Language to do tutorials and essay writing for your classmates, printing projects papers etc, video editing, if you're good in gaming build your fan base donations/tips will come and more ways to make money, but it's just time and skill you have exchanging for money. You can earn money in so many different ways then if you have excess cash or savings by then you start to invest, since you are a student i assume you still have a safety net like your allowance. I know these things cause i've done these side hustles myself and it works "for me" when i was a high school and college student. Now I'm 21, working on corporate job, with good amount of Emergency Fund, still doing side hustles(Programming & web app development), investing on blue chip stock, day trading from time to time, currently building a business, i'm working on it to 7 digits net worth by 2025. Play the game of Life as if you're playing chess.
You are an eye opener 😍 Na adik na ko sa videos mo, mdaming tao seeking for an income generating things but then lacking in finacial management .. Subrang legit yung dapat may topic din about sa money para maraming mas matuto pa.. Di lang maghanap ng pera kundi paano ito i manage . Salamat ... subrang magagamit ko to ! More video please ! 😀
"You are your main asset. It's important to take care of yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically to improve as the best version of yourself." - Yvonie, 2021 A quote that I made based on my realizations in adulting 😅😌
I like how your videos are creating a nice community about financial literacy for people our age and economy. Rich dad poor dad was an eye-opener to me too, but it still takes a lot of work to apply its values and lessons; I'd love to hear more about the books you'd recommend hehe
As always, I'm so amazed how you deliver your thoughts. For someone who talks about finances, you always manage to keep that positive note that makes want to listen/watch you more. I have nothing against video game streamers, but I just can't help but wonder why those streamers who does nothing but shout nonsense gets more attention that Nicole. Please continue making more videos. Let's all break from that shackle.
I still remember how I went to your Instagram to dm you about this book last August and now you're finally premiering a video about it. Setting my reminders on! I will be waiting, ate! ❤️
It's bed time and I can't stop myself for watching your videos.😅 Financial literacy and self development is important...thank you for sharing your knowledge and best practices in saving money, tracking expenses and investing. 😊
read the book the moment the moment i watched the first video you made about this book and finished it OVERNIGHT. Dang! It was that GOOD! The people around me think a lot like the poor dad mentality and honestly that’s how I think before. This is the first nonfiction book that I actually enjoyed. 💯💯💯 THANK YOU, NICOLE!
I really love your channel, I even started my own acct on Cimb, ING, komo, MP2 BECAUSE OF YOU. Ang galing mo mag explain ng details lalo na yung diff kinds of investment na hindi ko magets dati when i was in college. Hahahaha thank you so much Nics! ♥️ I want to watch your channel grow and witness your success!🧡 Full support here♥️ -Pat from Parañaque
Can I asked for a copy of the book pls. kasalanan tlga ng internet kaya hindi ko to napanood agad.hehe. anyway thank you. for explaining it simply and clearly.full of knowledge and wisdom. (link lang sapat na)haha.
Binasa ko yang book na yan dahil namemention mo sa dating videos, btw congrats 40k na! Grabe nakita ko lang sa reddit tong account mo nung onti pa lang subs ngayon laki na
I Read this book when i was 17 in college. Im 33 now and Im thankful how it has molded me towards financial freedom. I was able to send my brother through nursing school and medschool even if i was only earning 20k a month. Because i never said I could not afford it instead I asked "How can i afford it?" 3 more years and I can officially retire!
Thanks for sharing your thoughs about it because I'm still reading the book. Marami akong natutunan/matututunan sa book na yun! Thanks for sharing! Tas tuwing wala akong magawa, nagbibinge watch ako ng mga videos mo. And I don't skip ads😂 🍞
Ive read of Robert Kiyosaki's books as well as Warren Buffet's and many more. But the problem really is not the lack of knowledge thereof, but the lack of willingness to apply what you've learned. I learned this a very hard way now that Im rock bottom in the vicious chain of debt.
Isa ito sa mga magagandang libro talaga, isabay ninyo ang Cashflow Quadrant ni Robert Kiyosaki. Parang part two ng Rich Dad Poor Dad! Try ni'yo rin ang Intelligent Investor by Graham Benjamin!
I've attended maybe a couple of financial literacy seminars before pero na o-overwhelm ako hahahaha and ended up not doing anything. Anyway, I started watching your videos couple of days ago and now, I have a CIMB account I setup last night lels. I already have an MP2 investment I put money pag kelan ko lang naaalala BUTTTT last night, I invested a "pikitmata" amount para compound, compound, compound. Okay, mananahimik nako. Agggh I'm a fan.
I could relate to the "high paying but treats you poorly". I worked in a hospital that pays well but the incentives are delayed and the quarters are shared. The food allowance is not enough. They charge their patients high as well. So it just didnt sit well with me. I quit it. I now work in 2 hospitals which are not as high paying but I am happy there.
the way she talks. she's not convincing everybody to save and earn. She's keeping it simple and motivational. Some financial advisor talks like ,everything's is so easy. Nicole be like. Make your move first.( Nawawala pag ka impulsive buying ko whenever I watch vid of her.)
Hi, Nicole. Your content is always of value. Kudos! 👌👌👌 What are your other book recommendations? And who are the people you follow or watch in RU-vid relative to your content preparation or anything about personal finance? Thank you!
i stumbled on one on your videos, then ended up watching most of your videos. Keep it up you are an inspiration for the youth. I'm going to share this to my pamangkin. Actually I'm also learning from although I'm older haha. Well that's life and I always remember this line from the protagonist of the animé Golden Boy, on every episode he always say "This is very educational! Life is studying!". Just a funny show I'm not recommending it to watched I just loved that line, and indeed life is full of lessons. Thank you and keep making a lot of videos, looking forward in watching future videos
I'm learning so much from your channel 💖 I'm 19 yrs old at nag sisimula pa lang ako sa pag aaral abt finance and how to handle money heheh kindly continue doing educational videos
I first read this book in 2008. Then researched on Kiyosaki's financial status. Not matching. :D While learnings in the book are practical, it needs to provide actual scenarios. Very good episode though Nicole!
4:30 you are wise beyond your years. I love this channel. You’re so inspiring. As a teacher, I am learning a lot and wish I had a teacher like you in school to teach finance :)
When I was in high school, tinuturo samin itong Rich Dad and Poor Dad kaso too bad di ako masiyadong nakinig knowing na iba pa ang takbo ng utak ko noon HAHAHAHA Late ko nang narealize na sobrang importante ng mga lessons dito. Buti nalang na save ko pa iba kong books nito aidbenfnf
😱😱😱 Whooah. I'm shookt reading the description. I didn't know na ganun pala si Kiyosaki.
Nakakahiya man kasi im already 44 and started so late to be cautious in handling money. but im proud to say that im learning a lot from you. I even told my daughter who is 18yo to watch ur vlogs as well. Thank you nicole!
That's alright. At least you're starting now and that's what matters! Thanks for watching. I'm glad you get value from my videos. I hope your daughter will enjoy them too 😄❤️🍞
Hi Nicole I noticed super nag increase yung subs mo huhuhu I just want to say congrats because when I saw ur posts in Reddit it was really a big help for me 💖🥺
Hello! we both actually have the same wokening book. Ever since, I viewed money differently. hehe now I'm trying new financial adventures to actually know what industry works for me.
This is good book for everyone who want to build a strong financial freedom. I recommend that you read also the part 2 of the book which is Cashflow Quadrant. You can learn many things about the 4 quadrant we have.
Robert Kiyosaki is awesome! He is the reason why i started investing in Bitcoin, Silver, & Gold. "The rich don't work for money" "The rich pay zero or close to zero taxes and all of it is LEGAL" - Robert Kiyosaki
I really love this book. It helped me changed my views regarding money and how to manage money. I wish fellow pinoys can find time and read this book. A doorway to financial freedom.
Hi! Silent follower! Not used to leaving comments! Just to extend my gratitude for making you vlogs religiously. It really helps me a lot with your insight. Kudos for yo! You're making it right and best. Same here, I would consider Rich Dad, Poor dad is my "Financial wokening'' Even if I quite older than you. I am learning and not bored watching your vlogs. Hope you can featured my comment someday! Yah! (English expired na. Lol)God bless
Thank you Nicole for another great video! I'm a third year Med student and I always rely on my parents for my allowance. I watched your videos and it inspired me to invest my money in assets. I learned to do stocks and and used a portion of my savings. So far, so good! My next goal is to be financially independent. ❤
Hi! I just found your channel last night when I’m about to sleep. Basically it’s recommended by RU-vid and the best recommendation. So anyway, it’s my birthday today and I make your vids a quick start towards my financial thingy. What can you suggest is a good start for investments? Like literally what kind and how to start? Let’s say I have 10k.
HAAAPEEEE BIRTHDAY!! 🥳 Hehe for a quickstart guide, you can refer to my Personal Finance 101 Playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLwqQI-ekEAiOJV42m_nPzPmusgIZ3zpLs

Hello I'm new to forex and I have been making huge loses but but recently I see alot of people earning from it, can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong
I can't believe I am really downloaded and read the pdf book from your description. Hehehe. Thank you Nicole. I'm so happy YT recommended you. This is the mindset young FILIPINO must have. Cheers to 180K subs.
Hi Nicole, just discovered your videos for 2 weeks now I guess😁 Love all your contents(of course the once i watched🤭 ) I admire your attitude and drive about financial literacy at a very young age. Good thing I always finish your videos because they are very informative and I like your train of thought in explaining complex ideas about finance and investments. With that being said, I now have this wonderful pdf copy of Rich Dad Poor Dad in my phone without having the hassle of bringing the physical book🤣 . Thank you and stay awesome! P.S. I also share your posted video links on facebook😎
Your video suddenly pops up while im searching for smth to watch. Yes I did read Rich dad Poor dad book by Robert Kiosaki. I am now an investor...though I started late...it's never really too late when you make a decision for yourself. Especially when you want to build your Solid Financial Foundation right. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. GOD bless!
Been wanting to get that book few years back but I just didn't udnerstand it back then. Haha sayang it was on sale panaman but if I bought it then it'll probably end up not read like the rest of my non-YA books. Good thing I didn't skip ad. :)
Thank you, Nicole! I remember reading this years ago. I was borrowing this book from my tutee's mom every time he was answering the worksheet. I was not able to finish it though. I got stuck in lesson 3. So, I wasn't able to get out of the rat race. Oof.
