💥 Busting Some Myths in Skyrim  

It truly shocks me that people can still find new things and never stop making videos

In Skyrim there are many replica reactions to healing. Some will be grateful, drunkards will say that their hangover has gone away, wounded and sick at the Temple of Kynareth in Whiterun will say that they feel better, and the khajiit (Like J'zargo) will say that they feel like after a nap.

That "Drunkard" as you put it, is the best damn follower I ever had. Me and him took on all of Skyrim together. Our final stop was the Dwarven Ruins deep under the mountains, the place where you encounter the crazed Khajit that killed his brother over Skooma. We were doing well until a group of Falmer knocked me off the ledge and into water from the top of the walkway bridges. After that point I could no longer find Buddy (that's what I called him, my bud Cosnach). There was no sign of his body, the Falmer were dead, and he never returned to the Silver-Blood inn. I like to think he's just wandering around with the peaceful giant down there, making fermented drinks in the Crimson Nirnroot scholar's old quarters. Fly high Buddy, may Soverngard grant you the finest mead in all of Tamreiel❤

I remember on my first playthrough, I had Uthgerd the Unbroken as my follower. I heard about how your companions could sometimes pick up giant's clubs, and when I finally got her to pick one up eventually, I had expected her to let me take it off her (I couldn't, and she wouldn't equip any other weapon I gave her). For the rest of my time playing, I was pissed that she had the super strong megahammer and I didn't. I eventually murdered her in a ruined house near the Whiterun watchtower and hid her body in the fireplace and burned her with the flames spell. Good times.

When making the Portage de Magnifique, the soup for the Dark Brotherhood quest. To kill the Emperor. If you “(remain silent)” the cook will add a the final ingredient herself and make the soup. But also if people actually read the recipe in book In the game. The Portage de Magnifique the recipe is up to the people making it after the first few steps so why not have a giants toe in it?

hahaha Cosnach was my all time favorite for a follower since he’s got a massive carrying capacity

I still wonder what the point of that club is if players can’t pick it up. I mean there have been numerous updates and remasters and re-releases while this was fairly common knowledge amongst players and Bethesda just never made it equippable. Maybe it’s supposed to be a companion only weapon, but that’s just lame

The only issue with the giants club is if you get a follower to equip it. It can never be unequipped

The giants club used to be useable early on but it was fixed so only that specific one can be used by companions

#1 for got to add that is you have someone with a higher 2 handed pick it up the first time its main base attack will change permanently to whatever it may corresponding to that specific followers' stats. even having them drop it and having another lower level 2 handed follwer pick it up will not change the stats

Imagine being able to cure a hangover like that you'd have a business like that. Don't wanna do anything crazy don't wanna alert the feds

As a Khajiit I always make sure to pick the worst option possible for the soup Can’t let the Argonians think we can actually cook

The giants club used to be in OG skyrim back on release. You could have your follower pick up any ginats club and it would be massive in their hands lol

Fun fact if you command a follower to pick up someting from the ground they can puck ut up even if their inventory is full. So basicly an endless storage.

Nope gotta give it to a reikling its probably the best weapon for them paired with the last dragon priest mask basically makes the reikling unbeatable

The giant club is a few spots I got it on Lydia in one of the giant locations between windhelm and riften

I gave it to my little blue guy lol

Having a conpanion pickup Giants Clubs wasnt an issue on the 360 version. Problem was, you also couldn't remove them from your followers inventory.

there is actually 2 giants clubs that are reasonable in Skyrim. one is in the hotsprings area of the map on the road under a broken carriage. the other doesn't spawn very reliably

I’ve been doing this for many years! Mjoll in riften is my favorite follower to give the club, she’s my big strong unkillable wife

You know itsna Todd Howard game when you can do everything you want no matter how goofy it is, you just need to go to a specific location to do it

It was a bug I’m not sure got fixed. Gain Mercer fray as a follower during the quest where he unlocks the ruins to find Karliah. DO NOT enter the ruin, instead go and defeat Alduin with Mercer as a follower. After Alduin, go back to find Karliah, there’s a chance Mercer won’t start the actions of unlocking the ruins. I had to restart my game to finish the thieves guild quest.

You can have your followers pick up that specific club, but it used to be you could just pull the club away from the giant's corpse and quick save/quick load until the giant disappeared and the club remained. You could also get a second sword from Miraak this way. I think the Unofficial Skyrim Patch patched this out

It's a shame nirnroot is the only ingredient you can add with the damge health effect; it would be a cool detail if you could trick the cook into poisoning the body double for you without even using the jarrin root.

Vilkas from the companions has pretty high stats in two handed in the game... or find a high stat two handed user for that.

There was this rumor way back when Skyrim first came out that if you played as an Argonian, the claws on your hands would actually grow longer as you gained levels

There a 2 locations where you can get your follower to pick up a club one does only 18 damage the other does 62 you can not pick these up yourself but can command a follower to pick it up and they will use it like a greatsword the other one is east between Riften and windhelm for the low level one

You can have a goblin named gogh as a follower

For the Giants Club They'll also stay stuck with it and not use any other weapon but it's still pretty funny to watch

I generally make the proper recipe…makes you seem like a more professional assassin

In the last one, the Nirn Root is actually part of the recipe. You get a line confirming adding a small bit of it will influence flavor instead of just, "Oh, a Nirn Root? Oooookay..."

The Giants club does Giant club levels of damage, meaning you hit home runs on bodies all day with it.

Pretty sure for the last one you just remain silent and i think she puts in an ingredient on her own.

Def used to be able to use the club for yourself or your follower. Shit was buggier than hell tho and would despawn from you inventory leaving you with naught but the weight of it

If you have a melee companion woth no magic and you take their weapons away, they can pick up other gaint clubs in mid combat if its the onlh weapon on the ground and they are unarmed...

I did the first one following and old skyrim guide on how to make vylkas more powerfull, it would be funny to be able to use the club since it has all the stats layed out though.

But the dragon born can wield that hammer I have it in my arsenal ...

The literal fact there's no way to actually grab the club and use it unless you have a mod.

U could pick up the giants club but there is only one in the world and the follower has to pick it up but then u can just take it from then

U can leave the map ...the first castle where u meet aldruin go where the wagon was first introduce when u were capture then u will find a gate after that u can leave the map

In re myth #1: While dovahkiin can't pick up and use the giants club... Lydia can... and will... especially if you remove *everything* from her inventory Dunno about any other followers but definitely Lydia

I knew this when the game first came out I had one of my dark brotherhood followers carry the giants club and it did not disappoint but I'm an og skyrim player so I know just about everything about the game even the small stuff and glitches but I still can't shoot an arrow fast travel and kill someone yet I have gotten close but there are definitely other people who have perfected the craft

The first myth is not true, because it says you can tell the follower to use a weapon that the dragonborn can't. But the club in tumble arch pass is equipable

The story is beautiful and I love how the author is making slight differences in the actual story of mass effect Such as the actual year of the first contact war In this story, it happened on 2158. In the actual mass effect video games, it happened in 2157.

It's not impossible to add outlandish stuff to the emperor's soup..... Hell I added all the off the rocker things to it, the only problem is having to repeat dialogue like "Gianna, whom here is the gourmet??" To which she grudgingly complies. Thus feeding the emperor vampire dust, a septum and giants toe among the base soup and poison you're supposed to give him
