How to make homemade wood filler very easy and economical way.
We are going to make putty or wood crack sealer in an easy, homemade and economical way, it is very simple:
You will need: white glue and sawdust.
Pour a couple of handfuls of sawdust to make two different tones.
Then add glue on top and stir with a spatula until it becomes a mass with a texture that allows to work it, you can add glue or sawdust depending on the hardness we need.
After applying it and once dry, it tends to darken, for that reason, if the wood is light a little white chalk should be added.
In case we want a dark tone or another color we can add a little dye to the mixture.
If there is too much, the cheap homemade putty can be stored in a tightly closed container in the refrigerator.
